The position has a flexible schedule of either a Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday. Responsibilities: Loading Petroleum products at refineries, ethanol plants, and bulk storage facilities. Unloading Petroleum products at numerous customer locations such as gas stations, airports, refineries, and bulk storage facilities. Ability to pump on and off petroleum and ethanol products using a Power Take Off. Dropping, hooking and connecting trailers to semi-truck. This includes manually raising and lowering dolly legs on the trailer with up to 50 pounds of torque resistance. Hooking up hoses and fittings to load and unload these Petroleum products safely and securely. Checking customer tank levels prior to unloading to make sure tanks do not fill past 90% ullage. Properly using vapor recovery hose at all loading and unloading locations. Reaching, pulling and pushing Petroleum hoses weighing up to 50 lbs. Invoice deliveries promptly and accurately. Submit daily load sheets and Driver's Vehicle Inspection Reports. Conduct inventories as directed. Maintain cleanliness of delivery equipment, including trucks, cab interiors, hoses, and nozzles. Clean and report small spills (5 gallons or less). Avoid charging sales to COD patrons or without approved credit. Safely operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment. Report unsafe conditions and needed repairs to the supervisor.
