Job Summary The Truck Driver plays a crucial role in our operations by skillfully operating a diverse range of vehicle combinations, such as semis, truck-trailers, flatbeds, and double trailers, encompassing both short and long-haul routes. Adhering to Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations, they ensure the secure transportation of cargo to different destinations. Responsible for the overall safety of the journey, the Truck Driver meticulously maintains their vehicle, ensuring it complies with all safety standards. Additionally, versatility is key as the Truck Driver may also operate other mobile machinery, including forklifts and electric walkies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Essential Duties and Responsibilities listed below are a range of duties performed by the employee and not intended to reflect all duties performed. Operates tractor-trailer combinations vehicles and delivery equipment on long-haul assignments in compliance with Federal, State and Company regulations and safety requirements. Maintains mileage, fuel/oil consumption, operational records, and driver's daily logs. Performs minor maintenance as necessary and conducts vehicle safety checks to ensure vehicle is in proper operating condition. May be required to perform additional duties and tasks as required by the Company.: Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required.
