DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will be part of a survey team responsible for operating both manual and electronic equipment for various types of surveys, including preliminary, right-of-way, engineering, bridge, construction, land, and property assessments. Your responsibilities will include setting up, operating, adjusting, and maintaining different survey instruments. You will also establish centerlines, measure angles, and verify the alignment of structures, as well as stake out tangents, curve stations, and reference control points. Utilizing conventional and/or robotic Total Stations, you will operate the instrument or prism rod to measure horizontal and vertical angles and slope distances, which are essential for establishing project control in topographic surveys and laying out features for construction and right-of-way surveys. Work Schedule and Additional Information: * Full-time employment * Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. * Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, on an ad hoc basis. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. Prepares written reports of daily arrestee booking trends for Prison officials and maintains records on arrestees processed and forwards to appropriate agencies as required. Receives inquiries and answers questions from law enforcement representatives and other Prison/County offices related to booking process.
