Technical Engineers pen the plans that lead construction crews to success. As a Technical Engineer in the Army National Guard, you will develop the skills necessary to help build, plan, and repair airstrips, docks, barracks, roads, and other projects. Your training will enable you to assume duties that include construction site development, such as technical investigation, surveying, drafting, and the development of construction plans and specifications. Perform basic apparatus testing and interpret test results with supervision. * Solid testing and commissioning knowledge of (or the ability to learn quickly) substation utility protection and control circuits. Perform commissioning activities and interpret results with supervision. Your duties will include performing equipment testing according to test procedures and maintaining accurate documentation. You should actively work to prevent field complaint situations through excellent service, as well as assist with shipping and receiving related to inventory, sales, haz, and project needs. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Participate and be engaged in the safety culture Assist with the management of all assets for the OGI and LDAR division Responsible for equipment quality and readiness Coordinate with logistics to ensure projects have appropriate assets available.
