This Opportunity WSP USA is seeking multiple **Part-Time Senior Transit Inspectors** to join our **National Fleet Facilities Team.** These positions may be based out of **Lansing-MI, Livermore-CA, Aniston-AL, or Washington, DC.** Provides technical assistance and physical inspection tasks for vehicle inspection and assessment of client vehicles and equipment on an as-needed basis. Job Description Job Title: Quality Inspector - Core Products Pay: $17 1st shift 7AM - 3:30PM We are seeking a Quality Inspector to perform visual and dimensional inspections of green and final core products. This role ensures all parts meet customer specifications and company standards while supporting production and quality goals. Responsibilities: Inspect green cores and final cores per customer specifications and operating procedures. Use inspection tools such as laser and transducer gages, checking blocks, comparators, X-Ray, OASIS inspection computer, and other hand-held tools. Document results, complete certifications, dimensional data, and shipping paperwork. Assist with calibration of inspection tools. Communicate inspection results with leads, managers, and customers during source inspections. Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow all safety rules. Support end-of-shift tasks including reporting, TPM, and 6S activities. Required High School Diploma or GED required. Knowledge of precision measuring tools and inspection equipment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Reliable attendance and dependability. Willingness to cross-train in other areas. Physical Requirements Ability to sit for long periods (up to 80% of shift). Must have close visual acuity for inspections and computer work. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
