The Communications and Brand Marketing Chief of Staff will be a direct partner to the Vice President of Communications and Brand Marketing at GE Vernova. This role will work with the GE Vernova Communications and Brand Marketing leadership team to stand up an effective team operating rhythm and coordinate critical initiatives across the function.
Essential Responsibilities
Work directly with the VP of Communications and Brand Marketing and leadership team to determine and set priorities and strategies for the function
Serve as a strategic partner to leadership team members and advise as needed on segment/ business strategies, planning, and development of processes to enable effective execution across initiatives
Help drive an engaged and collaborative culture across the function
Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team effectiveness and progress against goals. Support the development and execution of action plans to address gaps and drive continuous improvement.
Lead lean initiatives, including AI adoption
Establish efficient meeting rhythms and standard work for team
Develop and drive critical operations including budget and metrics

** The Mobile Sensors program performs Operations and Maintenance (O&M) on a ship based mobile radar/communication systems that are complex, multi-mission systems with elaborate command, control, computer, and communications interfaces and support sub-systems. These systems, and the program assigned employees primarily operate in the Pacific Command's (PACOM) area of responsibility (AOR). JOB SUMMARY:

Position Description: The Development and Communications Assistant is a key
member of CASA for Children's development team, responsible for many of the

support for fundraising events communications, and community initiatives. This

Database Administration
Raiser's Edge (donor database)

* Inputting all cash and in-kind gifts made to the organization

The Director oversees a comprehensive portfolio of communication initiatives designed to increase awareness, understanding, and utilization of New York State higher education financial aid programs. Analyze digital performance metrics, usability testing results, and engagement data; translate insights into actionable improvements to increase effectiveness and audience reach.
Collaborate closely with ITS, external vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders to plan and implement statewide messaging and awareness programs and initiatives.
Serve as a senior liaison to program areas, executive leadership, SUNY, CUNY, NYSED, and external partners to ensure coordinated messaging and consistent communication across channels.
Guide the development of training and outreach materials that support statewide initiatives, professional development efforts, and stakeholder education.

Represent the Communications Division, and when appropriate, the Vice President of Communications, in internal and external meetings, conferences, and high-profile initiatives.

Call Center Representative | CSD Communication Assistant
A Communication Assistant relays telephone calls between deaf, hard of hearing, and speech-impaired consumers (TTY users) and hearing consumers through the telephone network.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
To perform the essential functions of this position successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies
:
Excellent communication skills
Ability to speak clearly and pronounce and enunciate complex words and sentence structure; ability to effectively verbally communicate using voice inflection, adjust tone and volume
Ability to read text aloud from a computer and listen to spoken word and transcribe to text on a computer
Excellent grammar and spelling
Ability to learn and understand complex computer communication software, shortcuts and command functions
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to adapt to schedules influenced by call volume fluctuations
Qualifications
A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
18 years of age or older
Ability to type at 60 words per minute with minimal errors (to graduate training)
45 words per minute with 90% accuracy to qualify for training
Excellent customer service experience and a relaxed/calm demeanor
Ability to work various schedules including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays
Must be able to pass skill assessments administered by a local recruiter
Work From Home Requirements:
Private and quiet office space with a closed door
Hard-wired internet connection via ethernet cable (cable provided by CSD)
High-speed internet connection (3.0 MG download; 1.2 MG upload)
Residency Requirement: Candidates for this role must live and work in Texas.
Our training is conducted online. Training classes run on a Monday - Friday schedule for the span of 3 weeks from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Attendance to all hours of the training class is required - NO exceptions.

Use specific strategies to facilitate communication without interfering with the customer's control over the call including retention of information at the customer's request and verification of what is said to verify accuracy

Ability to read text aloud from a computer and listen to spoken word and transcribe to text on a computer
