The Valuable Articles CAP will rotate between the following teams: Underwriting Participate in CAP Underwriting program, including in-depth contract review and technical training Rotate between Select and Digital Underwriting teams Meet regularly with Fine Art & Valuable Collections underwriters to develop expertise in specialty risks, developing customized programs, and overall portfolio management Participate in Fine Art Community and Jewelry Community webinars to learn about underwriting strategy, competitive differentiators and loss trends Develop knowledge of risk exposures throughout the collection lifecycle, including complex case study examples and valuation examples Develop knowledge of how market trends can impact the portfolio, and how to manage those risks Risk Consulting Work directly with our team of Fine Art & Collections Specialists to learn how to identify, manage and service accounts with high-value private collections Shadow on-site Collection Risk Assessments and learn how to evaluate security controls, fire protection, environmental exposures, inventory management, and display conditions for collections Conduct art and jewelry market research and analysis, and review collection values to determine the need for appraisals Network with independent experts and resources, such as vetted fine art appraisers, conservators, warehouses, shippers, and advisors Attend internal training sessions for the risk consulting team as well as art and jewelry educational courses for broker and agency partners Claims Shadow adjusters on the VAC Claims team to understand the end-to-end process of adjusting standalone fine art, jewelry and collectibles losses, identification of available coverages, recovery potential, and fraudulent claim indicators Shadow the Salvage manager to understand the process of salvaging art, jewelry and collectibles as well as managing vendor relationships and workflows Monitor loss trends, provide general assistance and support to claims adjusters including projects and ad-hoc tasks as they arise Participate in relevant claims training Product Work with the Valuables LOB team to develop knowledge of Chubb's product, portfolio management, and competitive forms Support projects to drive profitability, growth, and portfolio management Learn how to monitor results patterns and loss trends for the traditional and digital portfolio Evaluate competitive advantages/disadvantages of our product, and make recommendations to position our product against the market Build relationships with art and jewelry centers of influence and new business referral sources Bachelor's degree required, Art or Art History is preferred GPA of 3.0 or above required. Preferred prior work experience, including but not limited to summer jobs, part-time roles, or internships in the art or luxuries industry. Preferred leadership experience, including but not limited to work, involvement in community service, athletics, clubs, or other activities. The pay range for the role is $60,000 to $75,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.     Title: Community Relations & IronPigs Charities Intern The Community Relations & IronPigs Charities Intern plays a key role in supporting the Lehigh Valley IronPigs' community engagement initiatives and charitable programs. This position provides hands-on experience in event coordination, nonprofit outreach, and fan engagement - offering an inside look at how a professional sports team makes an impact both on and off the field. Responsibilities Manage the IronPigs' online donation platform, ApprovedForGood, and process all incoming donation requests. Maintain and update the master nonprofit list while facilitating outreach to strengthen community partnerships. Coordinate and execute non-profit gameday initiatives including Salute to Service, Swing for Swine, Community Spotlight, and Philling the Need. Assist in scheduling and coordinating mascot appearances for community events; will also perform as one of the IronPigs mascots. Hours & Expectations November - March (January start at the latest): 35-hour work weeks (primarily Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM with a one-hour lunch). Occasional weekend work may be required for community events. April - September: 35-hour work weeks that include weekends and gamedays. Flexibility is expected during the baseball season.
