Join the Medicaid and Long-Term Care (MLTC) team at DHHS as a Medicaid Policy Intern. As an intern, you'll observe how legislation is developed and passed during the legislative session and contribute to implementing newly passed laws during the interim. You'll work alongside policy experts, legal analysts, and program specialists to support Nebraska's Medicaid programs and improve services for vulnerable populations. Key Responsibilities: Observe legislative hearings, floor debate, and committee meetings related to health and human services. Assist with bill tracking, summarizing legislation, and compiling background information.
