Incumbent is responsible for dispatching calls for service to deputies and other Law Enforcement Agencies within Delaware County, receiving calls from the public and public safety communication tasks involving the receipt and transmission of non-emergency and 911 emergency calls, security alarms, operating the communications teletype, computers, the communications telephone system, fields media inquiries and maintaining a radio log. Incumbent reports to the Communications Supervisor.
Job Standards
Completion of a secondary education or equivalent. Must have a valid Ohio driver's license and a clean criminal record. LEADS / NCIC operator certification. Work involves moderately complex, relatively standardized tasks, processes and operations following established laws and procedures.

Communicate information, verbal and/or written instructions from fellow officers, supervisors, management, tenants and the general public. Maintain equipment control by signing out property keys and departmental radios and other equipment.
Monitor and track contractors scheduled to work throughout the property. Monitor Parking Systems and Traffic Counters throughout the property. Monitor and calmly react to emergencies and activities throughout the center.
Enforce property Code of Conduct with all patrons, customers, tenants, and employees consistently using the utmost professional courtesy. Properly enforce and follow all policies and procedures as designated in the Public Safety Officer Training Manual.
Prepare accurate and thorough security reports that document information about the incidents that occur on company property, to assist with the evaluation of safety and security of the property. Maintain a neat and orderly security filing system within the Communication Center.

Key Responsibilities of Dispatchers:
* Greet each customer in a friendly and professional manner
* Dispatch shuttles and maintains ample coverage at the parking facility and airport
* Ensure consistent service through proper movement of shuttles
* Maintain neat and clean work area
* Cooperate with all team members to provide the best possible service
* Provide guests with accurate information as it relates to the parking facility and airport terminals
* Perform additional duties as reasonably requested by Management
Knowledge, Skills, & Experience of Dispatchers:
* High school education or equivalent
* Good interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities
* Previous dispatch, cashier, and/or customer service experience is preferred
* Basic math and computer skills are essential
* Ability to verbally communicate clearly in the English language

**Job Summary:**
The Dispatcher expedites communications and dispatches company personnel and/or vehicles. This role is responsible for logging, reporting and communicating all moments that require dispatching.
**Job Specifications:**

**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Answer all telephone and radio calls in Dispatch
+ Provide timely and accurate communications and record keeping required for the resort operations team.
+ Keep accurate and up to date daily, weekly and seasonal Dispatch logs and other records related to assigned duties.
+ Perform continuous monitoring of a radio channel system and dispatch phone line.
+ Coordinate emergency travel needs for rescue services arriving at the resort.
+ Other duties as assigned
