About this Position
The Commerce Director's Office provides centralized finance, budget, communications, marketing, legal, IT and HR services and resources for the Department Divisions and attached boards.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE
Conducts field data collection such as soil sampling, Electrical Conductivity (EC) data collection, yield monitoring and other tasks related to information management services.
Researches and evaluates new digital farming and information management services along with other technologies.
Reviews and performs quality control on AGRIntelligence products created for customers.
Assists the sales team with the positioning and selling of AGRIntelligence products and services by allowing the Sales Representatives to lead and manage the customer account.
Ensures that AGRIntelligence products and services meet company standards and requirements.
Communicates and interacts with the Branch Manager, sales team, AGRIntelligence field support team and other AGRIntelligence team members on a regular basis to meet customer deadlines and expectations.
Ensures that work and follow-up has been completed on all the AGRIntelligence offerings that Helena has sold.
Provides technical training and support to the Helena team and customers who are utilizing AGRIntelligence branded products/services, AGRIntelligence 360 or other related products/services.
Facilitates communication between connected devices and the AGRIntelligence 360 system.
Serves as the primary source of all AGRIntelligence field work such as soil sampling, tissue sampling, EC data collection work, setting field boundaries, etc.
Works as the liaison between the branch, AGRIntelligence Agronomist and AGRIntelligence Product Manager in all matters related to AGRIntelligence services.
Assists the branch in all service-related sales including seed treating and other services.
Performs and facilitates teaching activities on the use of AGRIntelligence 360 and other agronomy related field and office software.
Performs analysis on field data to determine field management strategies and makes field and crop recommendations based on the results.
Trains and assists location team on AGRIntelligence products/services including gathering soil samples using GIS technology and training in the use of electrical conductivity equipment (i.e. Veris, Dualem, EM38) and other telemetry systems and software.
Serves as the key contact and liaison for hardware and software issues including providing troubleshooting assistance to the locations and farmers in the operation of precision agriculture hardware and other hardware components.
Ensures that all data collected through the functions of the job are safely and securely transferred to the Field Support Center for timely processing.
Assists and supports the installation of precision agriculture equipment such as VR hardware, yield monitors, telemetry hardware/software, computers and software at the locations, in the farmers' fields and in application equipment.
Encourages thorough data collection among users and customers of AGRIntelligence systems in order to be prepared for future opportunities and offerings.
Communicates market intelligence and competitive threats to BU leadership.
May manage others, currently or in the future, based on customer demands for AGRIntelligence services.
Required to drive a company vehicle.
Provides excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree and two years of related work experience or no degree and five years of related work experience is required.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
General understanding of geography, GIS, GPS systems and other agronomy related software is required.
Ability to travel by various means up to 30-35% is required.
Ability to read, write and speak in English is required.
Communicating in Spanish is a valuable asset at Helena.
Computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office are required.
Valid U.S. driver's license is required to drive a company vehicle.
Successful completion of a drug test and background check
is required for all positions at Helena.
