The MaterialsHandler will transport materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations. he MaterialHandler is responsible to retrieve and distribute in a safe and timely manner materials necessary to maintain production in the assembly area without interruption.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Receives, distributes, and stores products as directed in designated, secure locations.
Responsible to maintain accurate finished goods inventories
Prepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information.
Reviews shipments for quality and accuracy; reviews accompanying documents for accuracy.
Confirms shipping details or special instructions; expedites shipments that affect the manufacturing process schedule.
Checks for accuracy of product labels, quantities, and packaging conditions.
Checks inbound freight for damage and count.
Transports and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods .
When problems arise, resolves issues with colleagues, contractors or vendors.
Validates, approves, and forwards invoices to accounting department.
Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment.
Regularly drive a tow motor to load/unload trucks, clear the production lines, and move and stack raw materials and finished goods in the plant.
Occasionally will need to operate a tow motor in the roadway or parking lot to unload, move, or store materials.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Efficient time management skills.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or other formal training in related field preferred.

Forklift certification preferred.

**Responsibilities**
This role performs work within a Brightstars Warehouse. As part of the warehouse and inventory team, it will move materials, parts and various Brightstar products using machinery and handheld equipment. This role is essential in the daily functions of this Brightstar team, supporting our lottery and gaming customers.
- Move raw materials and parts by using heavy and light machinery and handheld equipment
- Work with SAP and other basic computer applications to document, maintain and improves workflows

Compensation
Hourly pay rate is $17.35. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Job Description
This role makes the decisions for staging vehicles and also makes decisions for the timing of the van crews to pick up. This position is also responsible labelling all cars in preparation for crew leader movements. Safe management of move areas on the auction property and the coordination of crews between each area in compliance with safety and driving rules.
Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Friday 7:30 am- 2 pm
Pay rate: $17.35 per hr.
Job Responsibilities:
Drive vehicles through Auction lanes on sale day in a safe manner.
Drive vehicles to and from designated areas on Auction premises and to and from customer dealerships and businesses, while observing Auction driving rules, rules of the road and demonstrating courtesy and defensive driving principles.
Line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed by supervisor or team leader, move vehicles as necessary, and locate "lost" vehicles.
Assist with getting vehicles operating as needed. If necessary, inflate tires and jump start vehicles using a battery box and air tank. Notify supervisor when a vehicle is inoperative; notify Service or Gas Truck Driver when vehicle is out of gas.
Assist customers (i.e., dealers, account representatives, rental agencies, etc.) and coworkers as needed.
Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous auction experience preferred.
Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.
Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
Constantly required to enter and exit vehicles.
Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
Ability to walk long distances.
Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.
Ability to lift 1-15 pounds.
Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Moderate noise level.
Drug Testing
To be employed in this role, you'll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position.
