CTDI also has a global footprint with more than 20,000 employees worldwide. 1st Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm Sunday to Wednesday Starting Pay: $17.65 Shipping & Receiving Clerk Responsible for managing the flow of incoming and outgoing shipments in the warehouse. Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments Prepare items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality/productivity standards, while ensuring that all shipments are properly labeled and packaged. Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Unpacks, examines and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. Performs all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods. Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations. All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports. Required Skills and Experience Comfortable working autonomously. Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion. Competent in maintaining accurate and organized records. Basic knowledge of computers programs for entering data. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills and Experience Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus. Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Time-management skills. Written and verbal communication skills.
