10. Follows assigned accounts, in conjunction with relationship team, to ensure financial statements are received timely and evaluated regularly to assess borrower risk.
11. Responsible for the monitoring of the credit quality of the assigned portfolio regarding delinquency, charge-offs, criticized/classified assets, etc.
12. Reviews trend reports generated based on assigned portfolio with ability to address and communicate on both positive and negative trends.
13. Helps coordinate the daily workflow in and out of the area to ensure that current loans are in complete conformity with the terms.
14. Serves as a representative for Portfolio Management and/or Corporate Banking in various Bank initiatives and projects on an as needed and elected basis.
15. May serve as a mentor and/or provide training to newer and less experienced Portfolio Managers within the Group.
16. Supports cross-sell opportunities resulting in additional recommendations to benefit both the customer and the Bank.

This position will assist Wealth Advisors and Senior Wealth Advisors with developing new client relationships through prospecting efforts. Using the sales process, coordinate development of investment management, private banking, and fiduciary solutions for new clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assume the lead relationship contact on new business relationships.
Lead the advisory team and coordinate all functions with the client and the FMPWA/FM team.

Assist Wealth Advisors and Senior Wealth Advisors in developing new business in the assigned region(s) and support other Private Wealth relationships in that region.

Leverage pre-call planning and post-call debrief to ensure the needs of the prospect are understood and the best solution options are presented.
Coordinate delivery of comprehensive financial solutions for prospective Private Wealth clients, including preparation and presentation of materials.
Transition service of new clients to the Wealth management team.
Support Wealth Advisors and Senior Wealth Advisors in development and execution of financial planning.
Work closely with the clients outside advisory team (attorney/CPA) to coordinate appropriate services and solutions.
Develop industry skills to prepare for promotion to Wealth Advisor.
To be successful in this position, we require the following:
Bachelor's degree.
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a financial services field OR one year of experience as an Associate Wealth Advisor at First Merchants.

e. Monitors borrower's performance and communicates to management and the credit department.
f. Works with Treasury Management to establish necessary accounts and ancillary services for deposits.

10. Prepares loan modification requests, Criticized Asset Committee Memos, Semi-Annual Line Sheets and any other necessary reports, as needed and in conjunction with the Relationship Manager. May occasionally need to present as back up to Relationship Manager.
11. Values collateral when necessary, reviews appraisals and assesses collateral coverage.
12. Ability to assess and discuss risk ratings with the Credit Department.
13. Follows assigned accounts, in conjunction with relationship team, to ensure financial statements are received timely and evaluated regularly to assess borrower risk.
14. Helps coordinate the daily workflow in and out of the area to ensure that current loans are in complete conformity with the terms.

9. Review and understand credit agreements and all supporting documentation related to the relationship.

Investment Real Estate Banking
