The Job Developer works in partnership with individuals, team members, businesses, and other community resources to develop meaningful employment opportunities. Acts as an advocate for and support to individuals with developmental disabilities or other related conditions. This position is subject to the requirements of all personnel policies and procedures of the Agency.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
Experience: Experience in the human service or related field with persons with disabilities desirable skills in coaching, mentoring, or vocational also desirable.
Compensation and Benefits
There is a $1000 sign-on bonus for this position - $500 will be paid at the time of hire and $500 will be paid after 6 months in the role. *Please note, sign-on bonuses are for new hires only. Re-hires and transfers are not eligible at this time.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Promotes and develops sustained relationships with employers inside Community Bridges catchment area.
Promotes and develops employment and on-the-job training opportunities for individuals
Assists employers in revising standards which exclude individuals from jobs.
Demonstrates to employers' effectiveness and profitability of employing individuals with intellectual disabilities or acquired brain injuries by identifying jobs that workers could perform.
Establishes relationships with employers regarding problems, complaints, and progress of recently placed individuals and recommends corrective action.
Promotes and develops on-the-job training program opportunities with employers and assists in writing contracts.
Identifies need for and assists in development of auxiliary services to facilitate bringing individuals into job-ready status.
Instruct applicants in resume writing, job search, and interviewing techniques as requested.
Manage the allocation of program resources to accomplish the goals established for the fiscal year to provide vocational and administrative services and supervision to vocational and administrative staff.
Responsible for the development of vendor ship contract(s) with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.
Ensure services are delivered in accordance with New Hampshire State rules and regulations.
Ensures adequate staff training on job sites.
Ensures compliance with agency policies regarding safety/accidents.
Maintains established monthly billing procedures for all Vocational Rehabilitation clients.
Acts as a liaison for Vocational Rehabilitation participants in active Vocational Rehabilitation client review meetings.
Represents and participates in statewide employment committees and initiatives.
Assures communication with case managers and clinical staff regarding consumer progress and problems.
Attends department and staff meetings, team meetings, trainings and in-services as assigned.
Represents the Agency at external events and functions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
One year supervisory experience required.

The Direct Support Professionals provides support to the individuals by attending medical appointments, monitoring their health, safety, nutrition, grocery shopping, community activities, and community connections.

Assist in the orientation/training of new staff, which may include introduction to an individual's support persons and to an individual's ISP, strategies, dreams and goals, and treatment plan.

Responsible for the management of service operations and staff supervision.

On the job supports include role modeling, problem solving, interpersonal skills, and mentoring the individual to create success on career paths.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Support individuals on the job site ensuring proper mentoring and success in the role based on the specific job duties the individual will be performing.
Promote independence with job functions and provide skills training for how employees perform successfully on the job while modeling professional behavior in the workplace.
Help design plans and work with employee's onsite to create a successful fade program and be a resource to the job site for ongoing support.

Assist in developing and individualizing the yearly Person Centered Planning by providing information for assessments and by developing implementation strategies for goals/objectives and methods for monitoring the delivery and quality of supports to the individual.
Complete documentation requirements as specified by the Individual Service Plan to include the scheduled data collection and monthly progress notes to show an increase or decrease in behaviors to continually support individuals as they grow and reach goals.
