The Analyst position assists with all aspects of the Organization's legal compliance with relevant laws, rules, and regulations. The Analyst researches, reviews, and provides legal analysis for existing and proposed legislation and regulatory guidance to help ensure the organization stays informed of and in compliance with legal requirements. The Analyst assists the General Counsel with drafting legal agreements, policies, memoranda of understanding, and other legal documents as assigned by the General Counsel. The Analyst conducts reviews of complex legal contracts and researches legal issues to assist the General Counsel in providing legal advice to the Executive Management Team and Board. Responsibilities and Essential Duties: Collaborate with Human Resources (People) function and the General Counsel to investigate, address, and provide advice on various employment law issues. Work closely with Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer to help ensure the Organization is meeting or exceeding its regulatory compliance requirements. Assist the General Counsel in reviewing and analyzing all the Company's business and operations to ensure compliance with Stark, AKS, and other fraud and abuse laws; helps ensure the organization is legally compliant with privacy and security requirements under HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, 21 st Century Cures Act, state privacy laws, and any other applicable regulatory requirements. Work directly with the General Counsel and other team members to identify legal risks and compliance issues arising in day-to-day operations, contractual matters, and business transactions, and providing legal support as assigned by the General Counsel. Counsel management team on proposed arrangements, transactions, and complex legal matters and provide necessary training/education at the direction of General Counsel. Research relevant laws, rules, and regulations for various legal and compliance topics associated with the provision of healthcare and business operations. Assist with the filing of administrative appeals and documentation to health insurers, governmental payers, and government agencies as required by law. Prepare or assist with preparing agency filings; Prepare or assist with draft responses to questions regarding procedural issues for agency filings. Prepare facility licensure and certification documents as assigned. Monitor the status of proposed legislation and regulations of interest to the Organization, including, but not limited to, regulatory changes and compliance with behavioral health, addiction medicine, telehealth, artificial intelligence, privacy, and policy requirements. Other projects and duties as assigned. Drafting, revising, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and policies as assigned. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the company, including senior executives. Knowledge of health law and contract drafting experience is required Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel; highly attentive to detail and able to handle large amounts of paperwork for a busy office; excellent organizational and time management skills; clear, concise, and logical writing style. Years of relevant experience in healthcare legal, privacy, or compliance may be substituted for education. Experience with and knowledge of behavioral health and addiction medicine laws is a plus.

Responsibilities and Essential Duties: • Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury. • Order, perform, and interpret tests and analyze records, reports, and examination information to diagnose patients' conditions. • Identify normal and abnormal findings in history, physical examination, and commonly performed laboratory studies. • Prescribe medication in accordance with the West Virginia statute and professional practice guidelines. • Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results. • Monitor patients' conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary. • Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients. • Advise patients concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention. • Refers patients to medical specialists or other practitioners when necessary. • Coordinate work with nurses, social workers, rehabilitation therapists, pharmacists, psychologists, and other health care providers. • Participate in staff outreach and off-site health care programs in the CCWV service area as assigned by the Medical Director. • Participate in peer review, quality assurance, provider meetings, and other clinical meetings. • Assist in updating protocols and principles of practice as requested. • Adhere to the highest standards of medical practice, ethics, and professionalism at all times. • Initiate appropriate evaluation and emergency management for emergency situations, for example, cardiac arrest, respiratory distress, injuries, burns, and hemorrhages. • Perform clinical procedures such as: o Venipuncture o Electrocardiogram o Care and suturing of minor lacerations o Casting and splinting o Control of external hemorrhage o Application of dressings and bandages o Removal of superficial foreign bodies o Cardiopulmonary resuscitation o Audiometry screening o Visual screening; and o Carry out aseptic and isolation techniques • Provide counseling and instruction regarding common patient problems, limitations, and abilities. • Other duties as assigned.
