The Regional Coordinator represents MOAR in the Boston region, working with the recovery community and other partners. The Regional Coordinator creates Action for Recovery Teams (ARTs) by engaging new members, sustaining current members, and developing volunteer opportunities. This position will facilitate meetings, support training, and guide peer support activities. They will maintain the organizational mission and values in all related projects and will ensure inclusivity and diversity in the peer-to-peer network.
You will be doing the following to make a difference:
* Develop and coordinate Action for Recovery Teams
* Recruit, orient and develop peer volunteers
* Provide ongoing support for volunteers and members
* Prepare agendas and support materials for volunteers
* Facilitate peer, community, and policymaker educational meetings and events
* Assist with ongoing development, operation, and support of peer driven services
* Support implementation of MOAR projects
* Fulfill quality assurance and administrative functions by gathering data to complete weekly reporting documentation
* Attend scheduled staff, committee, and supervision meetings and MOAR events
* Share information with Communication Coordinator for development of newsletters and other communications
Requirements
* Lived experience in personal recovery for a minimum of two years
* Knowledgeable and supportive of multiple pathways of recovery
* Proven expertise in the addiction prevention, treatment, and recovery continuum of care
* Two to five years of progressive (forward thinking/innovative) experience with addiction recovery community organizing and support services
* Bachelor's Degree with a major in human services or related degree with a minimum of two years professional experience OR
* Computer skills: Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, Concur, and ADP
* Community organizing experience
* Knowledge of the recovery and peer movement, including problem gambling recovery
* Cross-cultural skills and experience with culturally diverse populations
* Demonstrated skills in facilitation, presentation, event planning, and community organizing
* Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, inclusive of social media
* Bi-lingual (Spanish speaking) a plus
* Valid driver's license and the ability to travel throughout the region
* Ability to work nights and weekends

Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Human Service field and 1 year relevant experience working with children/adolescents/transition age youth; OR

Job Summary:

Provides or arranges for transportation for clients to appointments, crisis/respite services, etc. if needed.
Provides or secures support and crisis/emergency services for the youth/family.
Collaborates with other necessary individuals the youth and family may have contact with, in order to properly coordinate care.
Identifies community resources and development of natural supports for youth and parent/caregiver(s) to support and sustain achievement of the youth's individual care plan, goals and objectives.

Work closely within a multi-disciplinary team that includes a clinical team lead and counselor to provide support and interventions that teach the caregiver to navigate the child-serving system and empower them to do so on their own.

High school diploma or HISET and a minimum of two (2) years' experience working with children/adolescents/transitioning youth.
Experience as a caregiver of youth with special needs, and preferably a youth with mental health issues.

The Peer Recovery Support Center (PRSC) Recovery Coach works as an integral part of the Center team. PRSC Recovery Coach will perform, non-clinical supportive services to individuals in or seeking recovery. Link recoverees to services provided by community-based organizations such as peer support groups, legal services, nutritional counseling, and HIV rapid retesting and Hepatitis B and C testing.
Provide recoveree education in finances, housing stability, behavioral and primary health, life skills and all aspects of addiction and related life domains.
Provide crisis intervention by assessing severity of the episode, de-escalating the recoveree, referring to emergency response team as needed, and developing a safety plan to assist in resolving the crisis.

Provides or secures support and crisis/emergency services for the youth/family. This may be done through face-to-face contact, phone contact or by beeper or an on call system. All time spent on crisis assessment and planning, crisis linkage and follow-up, and stabilization must be billed as crisis hours.
Collaborates with other necessary individuals the youth and family may have contact with, such as Bureau Case Managers, Probation Officers, Judges, District Attorneys, Attorneys, Teachers, Physicians, etc. Will contact these key people by telephone frequently, invite them to Care Planning Team and ICP meetings, and provide them with copies of the ICP.
Master level clinicians must inform the Agency of all emergencies or critical incidents.

What You Will Be Doing to Make a Difference...
* Maintain effective and positive working relationships with referral sources, including Probation, Parole, Sheriff's Department, Office of Community Corrections, colleagues, supervisor, employees, other agency programs, and other community-based agencies/referral resources
* Coordinate with Sheriff's Department/Office of Community Corrections to ensure safety and security of facilities and persons served

Requirements
* Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Education, Counseling, Psychology, Rehabilitative Counseling or Social Work required; in process may be considered
* Licensure by professional board (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC) required; LADC recommended
* Minimum 4 years experience of providing counseling under supervision required
* Experience managing programs and supervising staff required
* 2 years experience working within a correctional program or facility preferred
* Experience with evidence-based curriculum preferred
* Strong background and experience in addiction treatment preferred
* Strong writing skills
* Computer proficiency
* Valid MA driver's license with acceptable driving record and current proof of insurance
* Acceptable CORI and SORI background record check as required by program

Job Summary:
The Care Coordinator facilitates care planning and coordination of services for youth, with serious emotional disturbance (SED), under the age of 21. Care Coordinators ensure that necessary services are accessed, coordinated, and delivered in a strength-based, individualized, family/youth-driven, and ethnically, culturally, and linguistically relevant manner. Services and supports, which are guided by the needs of the youth, are developed through a Wraparound planning process that results in an individualized and flexible plan of care for the youth and family. When providing care coordination, the Care Coordinator and a Family Partner work together with youth and their family while maintaining their distinct functions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Submit detailed progress notes that follow federal, state, and agency requirements.
Conduct comprehensive home-based assessments and behavioral health assessments inclusive of the age appropriate version of the Massachusetts Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) that occurs in the youth's home or another location of the family's choice.
Maintain a caseload of 11-14 families.
Oversees the assembly of the Care Planning Team, and guides the development of an Individual Care Plan and a risk management/safety plan.
Monitors the provision and quality of services provided to the family and is the liaison when new services/resources are needed to be sought or developed.
Provides or arranges for transportation for clients to appointments, crisis/respite services, etc. if needed.
Provides or secures support and crisis/emergency services for the youth/family.
Collaborates with other necessary individuals the youth and family may have contact with, in order to properly coordinate care.
Identifies community resources and development of natural supports for youth and parent/caregiver(s) to support and sustain achievement of the youth's individual care plan, goals and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Experience Required: 1 year.

Degree Required: Must possess an MCE approved Master's or Bachelor's Degree in one of the following:

Job Summary:
The Family Partner works as part of a team directly with families who are receiving clinical services. Family Partners have lived experience because they were or still are a caregiver for a child with special needs, preferably mental health needs. Because of their experience, the Family Partner is able to work one on one with families who may be in a similar situation as they were. The Family Partner will mentor families and help them navigate the child serving systems and support them in trying to get services and follow a care plan.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide education and support throughout the duration of treatment, attends care coordination meetings, and may assist the caregivers in articulating the youth's strengths, needs, and goals.
Educates caregivers about how to effectively navigate the child-serving systems and about the existence of informal/community resources available to them and facilitates the caregiver's access to these resources. This may include:
Support the parent/caregiver/guardian in navigating the child-serving systems and processes, fostering empowerment, including linkages to peer/parent support and self-help groups.
Provide care coordination as clinically indicated through phone calls, in-person meetings, and/or virtual meetings with collaterals throughout their work with the youth and family, including making appropriate referrals and "warm hand offs" to follow-up providers, as indicated.
Identify community resources and development of natural supports for youth and family to support and sustain achievement of the youth's treatment goals and objectives.
Work closely within a multi-disciplinary team that includes a clinical team lead and counselor to provide support and interventions that teach the caregiver to navigate the child-serving system and empower them to do so on their own.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or HISET and a minimum of two (2) years' experience working with children/adolescents/transitioning youth.
Experience as a caregiver of youth with special needs, and preferably a youth with mental health issues.
Experience with children and youth, strength-based, family centered and child focused services.
Experience in navigating any of the child and family-serving systems and teaching family members who are involved with the child and family serving systems;
Demonstrated ability to be innovative, creative, analytical and decisive in problem solving.
Demonstrated communications, administrative and organizational capabilities.
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and community agencies: School Dept., DYS, Juvenile Court, etc.
Understanding/willingness to be part of a Program that supports youth and families 24 hours per day, 365 days a year.
Must have a driver's license and availability of vehicle to support Program needs.
