Cindy Baier joined Brookdale as Chief Financial Officer in December 2015. She is a financial and operating leader with more than 25 years of broad, multi-industry experience in a variety of companies, including Fortune 100 public companies and private equity backed ventures. Cindy is a seasoned public CFO, with experience that includes retail and services companies, who started her career in a Big Five public accounting firm. She has a demonstrated ability to drive significant business improvement. Cindy is a collaborative Certified Public Accountant, experienced with strategic planning, M&A, capital markets, investor relations, accounting, financial planning and analysis, SEC reporting, tax, and treasury. Cindy is a graduate of Illinois State University, with Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Accounting.

Sam Hazen is chief executive officer of HCA Healthcare, one of the nation’s leading providers of healthcare services with 185 hospitals and approximately 1,800 sites of care, including surgery centers, freestanding ERs, urgent care centers and physician clinics, in 21 states and the United Kingdom. A $44 billion company, Nashville, Tennessee-based HCA Healthcare and its 270,000 employees provide approximately five percent of all U.S. hospital services. A 36-year veteran of HCA Healthcare, Hazen was appointed CEO January 1, 2019 after serving as president and chief operating officer since 2016. Hazen has served in various senior positions for HCA Healthcare including president of operations from 2011-2015. Hazen has also served as president of HCA Healthcare’s Western Group, which included all operations west of the Mississippi River and represented approximately one-half of the company’s revenue. Prior to 2001, Hazen was chief financial officer for the Western Group. Prior to 1995, he was chief financial officer for two different divisions in the company, overseeing operations in North Texas and various other markets. Hazen began his career in Humana’s Financial Management Specialist Program in 1983 and has held chief financial officer position at hospitals in Georgia and Las Vegas. Hazen currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Nashville Health Care Council, Federation of American Hospitals, and the HCA Foundation. Hazen earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Kentucky and his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Nevada Las Vegas.

David Dill serves as the Company’s President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to assuming his current position in April 2009, Mr. Dill served as the Company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since joining the Company in July 2007. Previously, Mr. Dill served as Executive Vice President of Fresenius Medical Care North America and as Chief Executive Officer in the East Division of Fresenius Medical Care Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fresenius Medical Care AG & Co. KGaA. Dill previously served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Renal Care Group, Inc., a publicly traded dialysis services company, from November 2003 until Renal Care Group was acquired by Fresenius Medical Care in March 2006. Mr. Dill is a former director of Psychiatric Solutions, Inc., a behavioral health services company.

Ronald A. Rittenmeyer has served as a director of IQVIA since October 2016. Prior to this, Mr. Rittenmeyer served as a Director of IMS Health from April 2010 to October 2016. He served as Chairman, President and CEO of Expert Global Solutions, Inc. from 2008 to June 2014. Prior to that, Mr. Rittenmeyer served as Chairman, CEO and President of Electronic Data Systems Corporation from 2005 until 2008.He served as Chief Operating Officer of Electronic Data Systems Corporation from October 2005 until September 2007 (including service as Co-Chief Operating Officer until May 2006) and as Executive Vice President, Global Service Delivery from July 2005 until December 2006. Mr. Rittenmeyer also serves on the boards of directors of American International Group, Inc. and Tenet Health Care Corporation. He previously served as a director of EDS and RH Donnelley (presently Dex One Corporation). Mr. Rittenmeyer has a bachelor of arts degree in Commerce and Economics from Wilkes University, and his MBA from Rockhurst University. Mr. Rittenmeyer chairs the Leadership Development and Compensation Committee and serves as a member of the Audit Committee.

Doug Cropper is a Board Member at GENESIS HEALTH SYSTEM and Chief Executive Officer at GENESIS HEALTH SYSTEM and is based in Pleasant Valley, Iowa. He has worked as Executive Vice President at Inova Health System and Senior Vice President at HEALTHEAST CARE SYSTEM. Douglas works or has worked as Chief Executive Officer at St. Joseph's Hospital and Administrator at Inova. He attended University of Minnesota School of Public Health, University of Minnesota Duluth, and University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.

His additional experience as an entrepreneur and investor in diverse healthcare sectors include ambulatory surgery centers, imaging centers, and cancer centers, among others. Charlie served as Chairman and CEO of Vanguard Health Systems since the company's inception in 1997. Under his leadership, Vanguard grew to become a Fortune 500 company. Vanguard was acquired by Blackstone Group in 2004 for approximately $1.75 billion. Prior to forming Vanguard, he served as Chairman, President and CEO of OrNda HealthCorp. Under his leadership, OrNda grew from revenue of $450 million to $3 billion in four years to become the nation's third-largest investor-owned hospital management company. His career includes serving as President, Director and COO of HealthTrust Inc., as well as Executive Vice President and Director of Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) and COO and Director of General Care Corp. Charlie has served on numerous Boards of Directors, including 10 healthcare companies. He previously served on the board of Council Capital portfolio company NotifyMD. He received a BS from Southern Adventist University.
