**Job Summary**
The Radiology Technologist I is responsible for obtaining radiographic images of diagnostic quality while adhering to departmental standards and protocols. This role collaborates with healthcare professionals to deliver efficient and effective patient care, ensuring safety, accuracy, and patient comfort.
**Essential Functions**
+ Performs high-quality radiographic procedures independently, ensuring reproducible and diagnostic-quality images while adhering to positioning guidelines and departmental standards.
+ Practices radiation safety principles in accordance with ALARA guidelines and participates in the Image Gently and Image Wisely programs to minimize exposure.
+ Prepares patients for procedures, verifies orders, confirms patient identity using two identifiers, and explains procedures to ensure patient understanding and comfort.
+ Demonstrates population-appropriate competencies for all relevant patient demographics.
+ Cleans and maintains imaging equipment and modalities in compliance with infection control protocols, ensuring a safe and organized environment for patients and staff.
+ Ensures the availability and proper organization of supplies and equipment needed for patient care.
+ Inserts IV catheters for contrast injections when performing CT or MRI procedures, following departmental policies.
+ Scans and verifies all associated documents into PACS for radiologist interpretation, ensuring proper documentation.
+ Communicates effectively with peers, staff, physicians, leaders, and administration to support seamless patient care delivery.
+ Identifies and mitigates artifacts in images, ensuring optimal image quality.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
+ Complies with all policies and standards.
**Qualifications**
+ 0-1 years of clinical experience as a radiologic technologist required
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
+ Proficiency in operating and maintaining radiology equipment.
+ Knowledge of radiographic techniques, anatomy, and positioning.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
+ Understanding of radiation safety and infection control protocols.
+ Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure accurate imaging and documentation.
**Licenses and Certifications**
+ ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required
+ Licensed Radiologic Technologist as applicable by state required
+ BCLS - Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire required

Fawcett has approximately 250 beds with a variety of anatomic pathology specimens including breast, colorectal, thoracic, urologic and bone marrow specimens.
The practice consists of two pathologists who also remotely cover the surgical and cytology volumes at HCA Florida Englewood hospital (100 beds with approximately 1,400 surgical specimens and 100 non-gyn cytology specimens per year). No gyn cytology or autopsy coverage.

We are currently seeking a Florida-licensed CT Technologist on a full-time basis. As a CT Technologist, you will be competent in all of the following: brain, total spine, facial, sinus, orbits, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, upper/lower extremities, sella, and biopsies. As a CT Technologist, your duties will include but not be limited to:
Select proper technical factors for study then perform and complete diagnostic CT examinations accurately in a caring, compassionate and respectful manner
Possess sound and thorough operational knowledge of the CT scanner, pressure injector, resuscitation equipment, laser filmer, and teleradiology system
Assist in the administration of contrast media and other related procedures
Prepare, transfer and position patients as needed ensuring modesty, safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices indicated
Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time
Obtain high-quality CT images assuring only optimal images are submitted for interpretation
Remain proficient in executing software protocols and keep up to date with changes in the field by in-service study, attending courses or seminars as necessary/recommended
Maintain proactive and effective communication with patient and other caregiver colleagues to include the radiologist team
Operate equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases and keep room stocked with linens and necessary supplies
Accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed to provide optimum patient care
Qualifications
Completion of a 24-month program in Radiologic Technology at an accredited, AMA-approved institution
ARRT (CT) certification
Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Ability to perform work which requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and/or lifting of patients/equipment up to 50 lbs.

Job Summary and Qualifications
We are seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our ambulatory surgery center. Under the direction of your Physician, you will perform a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures in compliance with established protocols to promote positive patient outcomes. You will be tasked with upholding the HCA mission, to commit to the care and improvement of human life.
What you will do:
Prepares patients for exams and procedures. Assesses patient condition prior to and during all radiologic procedures.
Assemble necessary supplies and positioning aids for scheduling your procedures according to your physician's preference card
Tests and monitor your equipment for proper working condition
You will document records and other forms, accurately adhering to approved policies/procedures
Confirm that all persons in your room are appropriately shielded before activating x-ray
Communicate information about your p atient's status to other staff responsible for your patient's care
Perform required maintenance of your instruments, supplies, and equipment by adhering to cleaning care, storage, and ca libration procedures
Qualifications you will need:
Graduate of accredited school of radiology required
1+ years' experience as a Radiology Technician required , preferably in an operating room or surgery center setting
Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technicians ( ARRT ) Required
BLS required (Within 30-Days of Start)
State Radiology Technician license required

What you will do in this role:
You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of invasive radiology patients; pre-, intra-, and post-procedure.
You will assist physicians in procedures.
You will identify, determine, and ensure all appropriate equipment is available for procedures. You will ensure room is set up in a timely manner.
You will monitor patients during procedures and document appropriately.
You will continuously assess, monitor, record and communicate patient condition and act appropriately.
You will administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
Requirements:
Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire.
Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.

Nuclear Medical Technologist - PRN/Per Diem
Our imaging teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a PRN/per diem/as-needed basis. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Lehigh Hospital, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner.

Your tasks and responsibilities as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist may include but are not limited to:
Use radioactive isotopes to perform organ and body scans
Prepare radioactive isotopes for administration to patients in accordance with physicians' orders; May administer and record dosages as well
Perform diagnostic studies on patients using scanners or scintillation cameras to detect radiation emitted and to produce image of organ on photographic film
Position patients and adjust immobilization devices
Compassionately explain procedures to patients
Monitor, record and communicate utilizing computerized documentation (MEDITECH)
Assist with transporting patients as needed
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited and AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine Technology training program
Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of recent experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Valid ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB certification required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire; ACLS within 6 months of hire
Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs
