What does a day in this role look like? A person in this role will provide personal care and housekeeping services to individuals in their own home. Community Living Alliance provides all necessary training, so no experience is required.
Duties:
While each person is unique and has different care needs, below is a sample of personal cares you may provide while caring for an individual at Community Living Alliance:
Personal cares - Toileting, Bathing, Showering, Grooming, Incontinent Care, Bowel Programs, etc.
Transferring Clients
Lift clients with Hoyer Lift Independently
Provide assistance with household chores and meal preparation
Completed required documentation of records of care
Provide any additional cares needs as provided in clients' care plans
Schedule:
The schedule for this position is flexible and you can work around other jobs, childcare, school schedule, or other life scenarios. You can choose to work with one client, or with multiple clients if you want more hours. Each shift ranges from 1 to 3 hours. We have clients on bus routes or within walking distance depending on your location!
Wage:
Pay starts at $15.50/ hr
$1/ hr extra on weekends

This position provides professional 1:1 and group mentoring to youth in school, community and afterschool settings. Assists youth in developing strategies to positively connect with school and their community. Communicates directly with parents/guardians, school staff and other youth to surround the student/mentee with positive options to violence.

Engage youth in educational and positive youth development programming.
Facilitate mediations.
Build and maintain relationships with school personnel (administration, school safety, social workers, guidance counselors, teachers, etc.) and community partners.

Work with Site Supervisor-Program Directors to coordinate summer activities for VFZ participants.
Provide general recreation support throughout the school year, and follows the MPS school calendar, and required schedule at the MPS school to serve youth.

Community Living Alliance is looking to hire an experienced, friendly, and reliable caregiver to provide one-on-one care to clients in the comfort of their own homes in Oregon, WI! If you are looking to provide quality care while working in a positive and friendly environment, this is the position for you!
About the Position:
Schedule:
Part-time (no more than 30 hours a week)
Flexible schedule
No overnights
Weekends not required
Tasks:
General Cares
Bathing, grooming, dressing **
Transfers (From bed to wheelchair, shower, etc)
Housekeeping
Completed required documentation of records of care **
Any addition needs listed on client care plans **
Additional Cares
G-Tube **
Scheduled feedings **
Therapies (BIDs, stander) **
Bowel program/catheter/incontinence care **
Transfers from bed to wheelchair **
** We currently have a client in the Oregon area with these specific needs. Experience with these cares is highly preferred!
Benefits:
Pay starts at $15.50/ hr + $1/ hr extra on weekends

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
18+ years of age
High School Diploma
Own a Smart Phone for Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) (Fully activated, not wifi only)
Authorized to work in the United States
Capable of lifting/moving/pushing/pulling 35 pounds

Reliable
Friendly
Willingness to learn
Experience working individuals with cognitive challenges
Experienced &/or comfortable with personal cares
Good communication
Willing to listen to client's concerns/needs
