As a student employee, we will work with your class schedule to maximize your professional and academic growth. * Help students find their home away from home by making appointments, conducting tours, maintaining show rooms, and completing marketing follow-up processes needed to secure leases.

* Provide unparalleled customer service and respect for residents while supporting all American Campus Communities policies and procedures.

* Enthusiastically assist with the implementation of off-site marketing efforts on-campus, in the community, and at special events.
* Assist with the preparation and administration of Turn, Move-In, and Move-Out.
* Work scheduled "Community Assistant On-Call" shifts, which may include, weekdays, weekends, and/or holidays. These shifts are a required part of the Community Assistant position and may take place at any point during the day, evening, and/or overnight.

Sunflower Communities has an opportunity for a cook for our assisted living community in Elmore. You will work directly under the Executive Chef to follow recipes, prepare ingredients, and create delicious meals for residents.


Cook Responsibilities:

  • Follow guidance of the Executive Chef to prepare and dish meals for our residents
  • Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc.)
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
  • Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
  • Maintain high quality food safety standards


Cook Qualifications:

  • High School diploma / GED or equivalent work experience
  • Previous food prep experience required

What does a Community Living Assistant do?

You would provide 1:1 support to adults with developmental disabilities in their home and throughout their community! East Bay Innovations supports clients in Alameda County. We provide support to a diverse age group of adults with various support needs. Your goal would be to provide respectful, personal, and motivating services that enable our clients to participate in all aspects of their community, and lead meaningful lives centered around independence and empowerment.
