Community Living, Inc. is looking for a Recreation Manager to lead our Adult Recreation team and help bring fun, connection, and creativity to the participants we support. This role is a mix of leadership and hands-on action such as planning engaging programs, supporting and motivating staff, and keeping things running smoothly and safely across our recreation sites. Pay Rate: $24.25/hour
Schedule: FT 40 Hrs./week, Monday-Saturday days and evenings, must be flexible
What You'll Do
Oversee planning, scheduling, and coordination for all Adult Recreation programs.
Lead, train, and support staff and volunteers.
Manage daily operations across facilities, ensuring safe, accessible environments.
Build strong relationships with participants, families, guardians, and community partners.
Support staff through hiring, training, evaluations, and scheduling.
Ensure compliance with DMH, DDRB, and Medicaid Waiver requirements.
Review monthly calendars, approve purchases, and help guide program development.
Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and participant goal updates.
Assist participants with hygiene, mobility, and recreation needs as needed.
Help manage budgets, payroll, and incident reporting.
Step in on the floor as a staff member when needed.
Represent our recreation programs with professionalism, warmth, and creativity.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
At least 1 year of management experience required; 3 years preferred.
Experience supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a plus.
Strong leadership, organization, communication, and decision-making skills.
Comfortable building positive relationships with staff, participants, families, and partners.
Ability to write reports and use Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Someone who enjoys teamwork and problem-solving.
Requirements
Valid driver's license.
Ability to drive large vans and assist participants entering/exiting.
Able to lift 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, and assist participants with mobility as needed.
Criminal background check, Family Care Safety Registry check, and motor vehicle report.

Overview:
Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, according to physician's orders. Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy. Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care. Performs duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
Licensure: Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
Certifications: Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For co-workers who work in the Emergency Room PALS is required. ACLS is required.
Experience: Must have one year of experience, not to include time on orientation.
Other: Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs. Plus, pinch up to 10 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally.
Equipment Used: All appropriate respiratory care devices.
Preferred Experience: Prefer critical care experience.

RAND's Center on AI, Security, and Technology (CAST), part of the Global and Emerging Risks (GER) Division conducts cutting-edge research on transformative, high-impact technologies-including artificial intelligence and biotechnology-to shape policies that protect global security and advance the public good.
Your work will address key questions related to global and emerging AI and biosecurity risks, understanding options for prevention and resilience, and examining their policy implications.
You will communicate the results of your work to both technical and non-technical audiences through quick-turnaround policy briefs and detailed written research products. A recent example of one of our research products is the Synthesis Screeningreport, which examined the current state of nucleic acid synthesis screening and offered recommendations for policymakers and industry leaders to further secure these technologies.

Qualifications
All research positions at RAND require excellent analytic skills; the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing; the ability to work effectively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team; and a strong commitment to RAND's core values of quality and objectivity.
In addition, successful applicants will have:
Experience in nucleic acid synthesis, AI-enabled biodesign, dual-use research of concern, potential pandemic pathogens, personal protective equipment, bioterrorism, or pathogen agnostic biosurveillance preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge and ability to analyze or implement policies involving strategy, doctrine, operations, tactics, systems or organization.
Ability for quantitative analysis and modeling, including modeling of uncertainty.
Experience in government, intelligence community, or other relevant decision-making offices preferred, but not required.
Ability to present evidence of research experience, demonstrated through authorship of academic publications, conference presentations, or prior professional reports.
Education & Experience Requirements
RAND is hiring multiple AI & Biosecurity Research Residents at the Associate and Specialist levels of experience. Minimum education and experience requirements at the Associate level include:
A PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Geology, or other natural and physical sciences is required - OR - PhD or equivalent in Policy Analysis or any technical discipline, Health Services Management, Public Health, Epidemiology or Business, is required.
OR
A Master's degree in the fields listed above with at least 3 years of relevant professional experience, is required.
OR
A Bachelor's degree in the fields listed above with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience, is required.
Security Clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government clearance is preferred but not required.
Location
We are hiring for this position in San Francisco, CA; Washington, DC; Santa Monica, CA; Pittsburgh, PA; and Boston, MA. We offer a hybrid work arrangement, combining work from home and on-site options. Fully remote work will also be considered.

Salary Range:$123,000 - $221,600

The salary range includes base pay plus RAND's sabbatic pay (which provides additional compensation above base pay when vacation is taken).
