Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Columbus, Ohio. Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations

Summary:
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) delivers rapid-response, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. This role involves assessing patient conditions, implementing urgent care plans, administering life-saving treatments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality, efficient, patient-centered care in critical situations. The ER RN demonstrates strong clinical skills, exceptional critical thinking abilities, excellent communication under pressure, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and professional ethics.
Essential Work Functions:
Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on the severity of their condition
Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families
Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved emergency nursing techniques and protocols
Prepare equipment and aid physicians during emergency treatments and examinations
Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout their time in the emergency department, responding to immediate needs
Observe and document patient conditions as required within scope of practice
Take and monitor vital signs using clinical judgment to address deviations and prevent complications
Respond to life-saving situations based upon emergency nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocols
Document comprehensive nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records (EMR)
Initiate patient education plans according to individualized needs, considering the acute nature of emergency care
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, specialists, paramedics, social workers and other support staff to ensure comprehensive care
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice
Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards

Position Description:
Bay Area Legal Services (BALS) is seeking to fill a part-time Fellowship position on our New Port Richey Team. Fellow will facilitate or directly provide qualified legal services to low income clients to meet their civil legal needs. *This position is temporary and is scheduled to end 12/31/2026.*
Illustrative Duties:
* Provide on-demand, legal research assignments primarily to assist attorneys with legal issues in the areas of elder law, consumer, housing, landlord-tenant, and family law.
* Conduct weekly intake with clients seeking services in elder law, housing, family, consumer and general civil litigation matters. Additionally, the position will provide pro se forms assistance for seniors and domestic violence survivors in a variety of civil legal needs.
* The Fellow may also be actively engaged with the community through outreach opportunities. Specifically, assisting at a weekly in-person forms assistance clinical at the Pasco County Clerk of the Court or remotely providing administrative assistance.
* Fellows who are CLIs will have the opportunity to provide representation at hearings, under attorney supervision.
* May assist in organizing and developing pro bono clinics, generating self-help materials, engaging in community outreach, and collaborating with law schools in the Sixth Circuit.
* Provides support to attorneys by performing administrative duties including tracking and compiling case information, entering specific case information into case management system, preparing documents and pleadings under attorneys' supervision; proofreading, modifying documents, scheduling meetings, assisting with case information.
Minimum Requirements:
* Juris Doctorate (JD) and Florida Bar licensed and in good standing with the Bar.

Responsibilities & Duties:
Engage in weekly visits with Case Managers
Attend monthly visits with Resource Specialists
Attend quarterly care plan meetings with the whole care team
Inform staff of incidents and concerns with the children in your care
Administer medications, if needed, and keep daily logs
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Home safety needs are up to date (such as working bathroom, running water, etc)
Ability to pass criminal and DCF background checks
Agency provided First Aid/CPR Certification and other required trainings after onboarding

**$1,500.00 Sign-On Bonus! Upon placement of a Foster Care youth, $750.00 is paid after 6 consecutive months of active employment and $750.00 after 12 consecutive months of active employment. Certain retention timeframes do apply.
