The Mental Health Worker is a member of the multidisciplinary team. The primary responsibility of the Mental Health Worker is to assist and support individuals and/or their families in achieving their optimal level of functioning. The Mental Health Worker exercises clinical skills and considerable independent judgment, decision making, and creativity in facilitating the personal growth and enhancing the stability of the social network of those being served. The Mental Health Worker reports directly to the Program Director.
This position is part of our Youth Mental Health (MH) Services Family Based Services.
Flexible, Full-Time Schedule (40 hrs./wk.) Monday to Friday - Day hours with 2 to 3 evenings per week as needed and rotating on-call coverage.
Wage Information:
Starting wage: $21.81/hour, negotiable based on relevant experience or certification
Job Description:
Provides treatment services to the individual and their family including skills training and education designed to enable the family to care for their child at home who has a mental illness or emotional disturbance.
Provides case administration to an assigned caseload.
Facilitates group process and activity within the program.
Contributes to the multidisciplinary treatment team process.
Coordinates needed services for individuals, families and others who are significant to the service plan.
Makes referrals to other public and private social services and community agencies and resources to meet individual and family needs, assists individual and their families in understanding and utilizing these resources.
Maintains regular communication with families, schools, physicians and other service providers involved with the child and family.
Travels to individual locations, other agencies, and community resources for the purpose of arranging and providing community and home-based service for children, adolescents, and families.
Knowledge of and ability to utilize basic medical and psychiatric terminology.
Basic knowledge of group dynamics processes.
Ability to effectively manage crisis situations that may include verbal/physical altercations and/or suicidal/self-injurious thoughts or actions.
Ability to adapt treatment programs by graduating tasks to meet an individual's specific level of function.
Ability to lead and instruct individuals in psycho-educational groups
Interviews individual and individual representatives to gather pertinent demographic psychosocial information.
Qualifications:
This position requires one of the following combinations of education and experience:
A bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, rehabilitation, pre-med, theology or anthropology from an accredited college or university AND one year of experience in a CASSP system program; OR
12 college level semester hours in humanities or social services plus one year of experience in a CASSP system program and be enrolled for certification by the Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services as a Mental Health Family Based Worker.

A valid driver's license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and/or transport individuals to appointments.

Perform basic repairs that do not require licensure or are within scope of experience and expertise (painting, drywall, minor plumbing and electrical work, furniture assembly, plumbing, hvac, groundskeeping).
Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
Identify and address safety hazards while following and modeling safety protocol, and CSG policies and procedures.
Obtain estimates and oversee external vendors for projects (e.g., HVAC, landscaping).
Coordinate with location supervisors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of maintenance tasks and projects
Identify local vendors that meet the after-hours needs of the program.
Develop relationships with company approved local vendors.
Maintain accurate and timely records around projects, tasks, and equipment.
Operate in compliance with all codes, policies, procedures and regulations.
Strong understanding of general maintenance, basic plumbing, electrical systems, appliance repair, carpentry, and painting.
Proficiency in safely using hand and power tools.
Ability to organize information and effectively communicate to location supervisors.

Summary of Position: Assistant Director position is responsible to support the Program Director in the Lebanon County CTC (Community Treatment Center) with hiring and training new employees, motivating, and providing supervision of staff, and communicating weekly performance to the Director.
Responsible to perform intakes, coordinate client staffing, to manage the delivery of client service hours to ensure maximum and appropriate levels of weekly services while managing compliance with all YAP and referring authority requirements.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Masters Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
Three to five years related experience/training in youth services, juvenile justice, community programs, or program development.
At least one-year related experience/training in management/supervision.
Proficient in Microsoft 365; Experience using an electronic health record system (EHR) is a plus.
Strong communication skills
Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) is a plus.

The Family Based Therapist (Mental Health Professional (MHP) and their co-therapist are responsible for providing mental health treatment/therapy and case management to the identified child/adolescent to prevent out of home placement. The MHP works with all family members, in either the home or community, to enhance relationships. The MHP works to build connections between the family and community, school and other service providers.
This position is part of our Youth Mental Health (MH) Family Based Services.
Flexible, Full-Time Schedule (40 hrs./wk.) Monday to Friday - Day hours with 2 to 3 evenings per week as needed and rotating on-call coverage.

Job Description:
Ensures the individual's health, safety, and welfare by monitoring their physical health and psychiatric health needs.
Enhances the quality of the individuals' lives and their integration into the community by supporting established goals, and community integration.
Develops and implements program plans designed to enhance the individual's social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and independent living skills.
Ability to conceptualize, plan and facilitate individual and group sessions and in some cases family therapies.
Performs clinical assessments and develops/implements treatment plans.
Completes all daily, weekly, and monthly records i.e., treatment plans, reports, logs, and other documentations.
Communicates and collaborates with team members, individual's families, involved agencies, and the community in providing required relevant information.
Provides crisis management, intervention which may include verbal/physical altercations and/or suicidal/self-injurious thoughts or actions, and is on-call as assigned.
Willing to learn and model the five principles of trauma informed care; safety, choice, collaboration, trustworthiness, and empowerment.
Commitment to promote cultural, racial, language and gender access, diversity, equity and inclusion.
Provides case administration to an assigned caseload.
Serves as team leader when needed.
Family Based Additional Duties
Provides treatment services to families including therapy , skills training, and education designed to enable families to care for their mentally ill or emotionally disturbed children in the home.
Provides clinical counseling in community settings, when applicable.
Participates in regular clinical supervision and continued educational activities to further develop professional skills and to meet Family Based Mental Health Services (FBMHS) requirements.
Works closely with other FBMHS team members to assure clear communication and team consistency.
Provides planning, family support, service linkage and referral for families.
Knowledge of child and adolescent developmental stages.
Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse population both orally and in writing, to include written reports and documentation of treatment information.
Qualifications:
A master's/graduate degree from an accredited college or university in the field of human services, psychology, social work or related degree.
2 years experience in a Child and Adolescent Service System Program (CASSP) including mental health treatment, case management, day care, foster care, special education, child welfare, and juvenile probation.
A valid driver's license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and/or transport individuals to appointments.
Able to work flexible hours.
