The Behavioral Intervention Clinician is responsible for providing direct clinical care, support and training services to individuals with Mental Health (MH)/Intellectual Developmental Disabilities (IDD), their families and their teams. The Behavioral Intervention Clinician is responsible for the development of behavioral intervention plans for these individuals in a variety of settings. The Behavioral Intervention Specialist works closely with the individual and their identified team to monitor the development and implementation of behavioral programs. This position is responsible for ensuring individuals' rights and quality programming in accordance with the principles of recovery and resiliency, self-determination, positive approaches, CSG policies and applicable regulations. The Behavioral Intervention Clinician reports directly to the Mobile Behavioral Intervention Services Coordinator.
This position is part of our Adult Mental Health and Intellectual Disabilities (MH/ID) Services.
Full-Time (40 hrs./wk.) and PRN flexible schedules available- Monday to Friday hours from 9 AM to 5 PM. No on-call, weekends, or holidays required!
Travel is required throughout Lancaster and Lebanon counties. Mileage reimbursement paid for work-related travel.

Wage Information:
Salary: Full-time- $57,000/year. PRN: $25.00/hour. $3,000 SIGN ON BONUS offered for full-time hires paid at successful completion of 3 month evaluation period.
Job Description:
Works directly with individuals, families, and groups to address and treat emotional and mental illnesses, behavioral challenges and to promote wellness.
Conducts multi-dimensional assessments including functional behavioral assessments, motivational assessment scales, and other necessary assessments as needed.
Utilizes direct instruction, coaching, modeling and facilitation to teach skills.
Designs, implements and monitors behavioral plans/ crisis management plans for individuals with mental health needs and intellectual disabilities.
Provides information, training and technical assistance to teams in the areas of trauma, dual diagnosis, psychiatric symptom management, positive behavior supports, autism, behavior shaping techniques, crisis management, etc.
Leads and facilitates teams and provides conflict resolution within teams.
Acts as a resource person for the individual, nurse, interdisciplinary team members and other auxiliary staff in areas related to behavioral programming.
Participates in team meetings, therapy appointments etc. relating to individuals as requested in order to provide guidance and support to staff.
Monitors individuals' progress through direct interaction, on-site visits, data collection and analysis to ensure appropriate and adequate team follow through with behavior plans, tracking sheets, psychiatric PRN protocols and other monitoring tools.
May be requested to participate in the development of individual service or treatment plans to determine long and short term goals.
Works closely with other specialists to maximize the level of care.
Completes documentation in accordance with CSG, regulatory and payer standards in the areas of assessments, behavioral plans, progress notes, treatment plans, discharge procedures, and other individual related activities.
Participates in education and other activities necessary to maintain competency in clinical work and to utilize best practice standards.
Knowledge of best practice behavioral interventions.
Knowledge of dual diagnosis (mental illness/intellectual and developmental disabilities), including psychiatric disorders, symptom identification and psychotropic medications.
Knowledge of child and adolescent developmental stages.
Qualifications:
This position requires one of the following combinations of education and experience:
Must have current license as a Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a minimum of two years of direct practice experience with individuals with MH/IDD diagnosis or closely related practice area, OR
Minimum of four years of direct practice experience with individuals with MH/IDD diagnosis or closely related practice area. Must have a master's degree in a field that provides clinical experience such as assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions and behavioral issues using a biopsychosocial approach.
Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and to travel to individuals' homes, work locations, offices and other settings where services will be performed.

The licensed therapist will provide individual, group, and family therapies to children, adolescents or adults depending on program support population using evidence -based practices in addiction-substance use disorders, mental health diagnosis and other areas as required by program. Perform initial assessment, treatment plans, individual and group counseling, coordinate with program support staff to identify and secure additional services and resources based on client needs.
Essential Job Function:
Therapy
Partner with individuals to develop their recovery goals in relation to their medical, psychiatric, and/or substance abuse disorders.
Provide individual, group and family therapies to people with mental health and substance abuse issues.
Assist in program participants aftercare planning and follow up
Caseload Management
Maintain active caseload including engaging individuals in ongoing treatment.
Maintain tracking system for treatment plans, and other required documents to meet program funder guidelines and program goals.
Participate in clinical group meetings regarding ongoing treatment goals, progress and discharge as needed.
Determine resources needed to meet the individualized needs identified in the assessment process and coordinate community support activities.
Take all necessary actions in assuring the implementation of comprehensive service plan (treatment plan) including serving as an advocate for the individual to enable then to receive needed services; identification of program needs, service gaps, and recommending strategies.
Administrative
Enter documentation into electronic medical records in accordance with agency guidelines.
Provide supervision to non-licensed therapists, counselors and other staff as needed to support state requirements for licensing.
Provide crisis management
All other duties as directed.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university in social work, psychology, or related field. Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a human service field is preferred.
State Certification or State license may be required to be obtained within a specific timeframe of hire date, depending on program licensure requirements.
A minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders
A minimum of one year experience working with individuals in a drug and alcohol setting
Familiar with standard business computer software programs and electronic Health Care Database programs.
ACT 33/34 clearances if required by program
PA State PATCH clearance
All trainings required by program licensure, may be completed during onboarding process

The Therapist provides individual, group, and family therapy services to children, adolescents, or adults, depending on the program's service population. This role utilizes evidence-based practices to address substance use disorders, mental health diagnoses, and co-occurring conditions as required by the program. Provide clinical supervision and support to non-licensed therapists, counselors, and other staff as required to meet state licensure and program requirements.
Complete all required trainings and perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a human services-related field and/or current state clinical licensure as required by the program (LPC, LCSW, LISW, LSW), per licensing and funder requirements.
Familiarity with standard business software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Ability to obtain and maintain required clearances, including ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances, as applicable.
