Ken Levine is a fifteen-year cybersecurity industry veteran and brings a wealth of knowledge to Comodo. Ken was CEO of then start-up NitroSecurity, a SIEM platform, before a successful acquisition by McAfee in 2011.

At McAfee, Ken was SVP and GM of the security management business unit. After two years at McAfee, Ken became CEO of Digital Guardian. Under his leadership, the organization tripled in size entered adjacent markets, and became a leader in the DLP and EDR markets. Most recently, Ken was the Chief Executive Officer for micro-segmentation company, ShieldX, which Fortinet newly acquired.

Ken’s DNA in start-ups and early-stage companies goes back to a 15-year tenure at Cabletron Systems; a networking company started in a garage that became a billion-dollar company. Ken’s passion is building great teams and companies, establishing GTM strategies with the best technology and products.

Levine founded Brookline Venture Partners in 2004 to invest in early-stage technology companies. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.

Dave Karp joins Comodo as Chief Strategy Officer responsible for developing, sustaining, and leading strategic initiatives and managing the CEO’s strategic planning process. Dave will also oversee marketing and brand initiatives. Dave has over 20 years of experience in information security and has excelled in diverse roles in sales, product management, marketing, consulting, and managed services. Before joining Comodo, Dave was the SVP of Product at ShieldX, now a Fortinet company. Before this, Dave was the Chief Product Officer at Digital Guardian, where he led product strategy. Dave architected the company’s transition from an on-premises delivery model to SaaS and established new offerings around endpoint detection and response (EDR) and user behavioral analytics. During his tenure, Dave helped develop, equip and enable an elite sales and field engineering team and worked closely with product marketing on go-to-market strategy and product lifecycle management. Dave worked at Cylance to establish a pre-sales engineering team and was the Technical Director for McAfee’s Security Management Platform business unit. At McAfee, Dave led a global technical team of Security Evangelists and Solution Specialists focused on accelerated growth technologies and participation in developing products aligned to the business unit. Dave is a member of Forbes Technology Council, a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, and a United States Marine Corps veteran.

Dr. Erdal Ozkaya joins Comodo as Chief Information Security Officer. Dr. Ozkaya is a passionate, solutions-focused professional with a comprehensive global background in information technology, information security, and cybersecurity. He comes from Standard Chartered Bank, where he was Regional Chief Information Security Officer and Managing Director Middle East. Before Standard Chartered Bank, he was a Trusted Security Advisor and Cybersecurity Architect at Microsoft, where he perfected the art of mapping customer business problems to technology solutions. He remains committed to delivering accurate, accessible resources to inform individuals and organizations of cybersecurity and privacy matters in the internet age.

Dr. Ozkaya is a collaborative team leader with expertise spanning end-to-end IT solutions, management, communications, and innovation. He is a well-known public speaker, an award-winning technical expert, author, and creator of certifications (courseware and exams) for prestigious organizations such as Microsoft, EC Council, and other expert-level vendors with an esteemed list of credits to his name. Dr. Ozkaya is a graduate of Charles Sturt University in New South Wales.

Michael Whittam is a Chief Financial Officer at Comodo and is based in United States.

Alan Knepfer is a President/Chief Revenue Office at Comodo.
