1998

On April 1, 1998, Level 3 began trading on the NASDAQ National Market.

2000

Level 3 began to experience the first tremors of the coming catastrophe in the spring of 2000.

2000: Level 3 begins to experience profound difficulties.

In 2000, Company 3, which was then a part of Four Media Company, was acquired by Liberty Media Corporation.

2002

No one doubted the technological quality of Crowe's network, "but it's like a great racetrack," an analyst explained in a July 22, 2002 interview with Fortune. "You still need the fans.

2003

One such deal was completed in February 2003, when Level 3 acquired Genuity, Inc., a bankrupt former Verizon subsidiary that operated a network used by Verizon and America Online.

November 4, 2003 – Company received a new 2003 Pierce ‘Enforcer’ model pumper, equipped with Foam, Serial # 14757-2, Shop # 164.

2010

In 2010, Deluxe Entertainment Services Group, Inc. acquired Company 3 along with its sister companies Beast Editorial, Encore, Level 3 Post, Method Studios, RIOT and Rushes.

2014

April 10, 2014 – Company received a new 2014 KME ‘Severe Service’ Foam pumper, equipped with a pre-piped nozzle, Serial # 8994, Shop # 188.

2020

In November 2020 it was announced that Company 3, along with Method Studios and several of Deluxe's other creative businesses, would be acquired by major visual effects studio, Framestore.
