The pay is good for my area, and you get to work on really cool and massively complex systems. Most employees I have encountered hold themselves to a high standard, are collaborative and knowledgeable, and motivated to have the team succeed. Although there seems to be a clear hierarchy and politics that come along with every big organization, I found that people generally expect you to contribute, and value your input even as a newer or less experienced employee. There's a bit of a sink or swim mentality, which I respect, but others might find intimidating. Leadership seems to be really investing efforts into making sure everyone is happy with their role, and retaining employees, even if that means transferring groups.
