YOUTH PHYSICAL FITNESS IS PROMOTED THROUGH FITNESS CLASSES TARGETING THAT AGE GROUP AND THE DESIGN OF A NEW YOUTH-SPECIFIC WELLNESS AREA. EACH DAY AT OUR FACILITIES, OVER 6,700 YOUTH, TEENS, ADULTS, AND SENIORS WORK TO IMPROVE THEIR HEALTH AND WELLNESS. THERE ARE OVER 520 GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES OFFERED PER WEEK. THE YMCA HAS ALSO TRANSITIONED THE CARDIAC PHASE III CENTER FROM THE LOCAL HOSPITAL TO OUR VENICE FACILITY. 96 CARDIAC PATIENTS ARE ASSISTED AND MONITORED BY A FULL-TIME CARDIAC CARE SPECIALIST ON THE YMCA STAFF.
