Founded in 1871, Ursuline College is the oldest women's college in Ohio, as well as one of the first postsecondary Catholic schools in the United States. Located in Pepper Pike, about 15 miles east of Cleveland, the school combines natural beauty and a small-town atmosphere with easy access to the resources of a large city. Though Ursuline's admissions don't discriminate on the basis of religion, the school's Catholic heritage is a fundamental part of student life. The Ursuline College Accelerated Program (UCAP) is designed for working adults. Students in UCAP can earn up to 27 credits per year, taking classes in the morning, afternoon, or evening.
