The Aviation School of the Lively Technical Center in Tallahassee, Florida, upholds Lively's long-heralded tradition of training aircraft mechanics in preparation for a successful career in aviation maintenance. Instruction in the program is provided by professional aviation maintenance technicians, ensuring that students receive the training necessary for a career. Academics offered at the school include training for a certificate in Aviation Maintenance Technology. Once students complete their training, they will be prepared to take the Federal Aviation Administration exams and demonstrate the necessary skills and abilities to an FAA Designated Maintenance Examiner. If satisfactory, this examiner will then issue an Airframe and Power Plant Mechanics certification.
