Great pay
Horrible work life balance. Understaffed. Low associate pay
Bonus
Getting to know different people and make lifelong connections!
Being disposable and not truly valued unless it benefits the company!
I enjoyed the retreats and networking with other workers you normally don't get to see!!
Good benefits, I don't work weekends (only at my location though). Free food. Weekends off.
Terrible work environment. sexual harassment, and racist comments, foul language and dirty jokes are common. Most coworkers are bad tempered and impatient, and unhappy. This is not a teamwork type environment.
Free food!
I have my own floor and I detail clean it everyday. My scores are always 100
Too much pressure no respect and dignity on the job. Favoritism, short of help. Call inns and no new hires
That I live my work with a passion / benefit 0
Fast-paced environment willing to hire entry-level employees and train them
no paid maternity leave other than LOA
the meal plan benefits are the only real perk
The pay was well and the clients was pleasant.
You needed a vehicle to travel to your cases, long distance from home.
I enjoy the free lunches and the PTO.
I do not enjoy the pay as I don't feel like it is comparable to other clinical dietitian jobs in this city. In addition, the only way to "move up" or advance your pay is to get away from clinical dietetics and into management or the food service side.
Fast, fun, lots of clients/customers to get to know
Micromanaged, cliquey, not clear with communications
Decent healthcare
management and support. Programs were available if you wanted to move up. Training was ample
unreliable schedule
PTO, medical
Monday thru Friday job. The customer are young adults and they are easy to please and get along with.
No growth .No advancing.
Really you have free lunch.
I like the people
It is not in my field of study
I got free lunch everyday as long as it was on campus property
Meeting people and keeping busy and waiting on people.
Doing everyone jobs because always short handed.
Insurance and vacation pay
Working with independent living and assisted living residents.
Administration and how they seem to not care about residents as much as they care about financials.
Free food.
The staff are friendly and accommodating and the flexibility of the hours offered
It was a part-time job
Training
Versatility
Not being placed where I was promised
Free lunch and disability accommodations
They were understanding and worked with you to resolve problems. Plenty of training and opportunities were available. The manager was also very attentive to my needs and suggestions.
Fellow coworkers
The mornings were to early for where I lived.
We had good discounts and I liked having the weekends off
Steady hours and steady pay.
Too much to mention... supervisors show favoritism constantly, don't get appreciated for all my hard work, I get really lousy raises while others who've been there less time get continuous big raises, upper management never does anything about all of the things that go on within the company...
The fact that I have a job would be about it.
My colleagues are great and you have the ability to move up the ladder.
As an hourly employee, the pay is below a livable wage no matter the state you live in. We're constantly short-staffed. There's nothing wrong with supporting your teammates, however when management see's you helping in other areas, they tend to take too much advantage of that. The yearly raises are next to nothing, scheduling is all over the place. Some managers expect you to pull miracles out of thin air all while you're down multiple employees due to call-outs or no-call no-shows. Depending on your manager, they might not help out when desperately needed and if they do, they won't really understand the tasks at hand. Also, if your manager did not start off as a fellow employee, chances are that they won't fully comprehend all that you do to support the company. Overall, I believe that in order to have a dedicated and loyal team, managers and corporate need to provide a LIVABLE wage to their hourly employees. Minimum doesn't get anyone anywhere. Also, being actively involved with your employees will do wonders. Listen to their work related issues and administer a solution and be transparent. Compass Group is a multi-billion dollar international company. They would not have made it this far without the ENTIRE team-- and that definitely includes their hourly employees who are the backbone.
Although the choices are on the expensive side, full-time employees benefit from health, vision, and dental insurance. Paid vacation, sick hours, and a 401K account are pretty great. Depending on your location and manager, you will receive a free lunch once a day. Other locations take it out of your paycheck before taxes.
No
Work you into submission. Ridiculous systems that aren’t practical. No training. 12 -14 hr days norm. Expected to do the work of 3 people. No follow through from upper mgmt. lies. Expensive benefits.
None
A wealth of training and upward mobility for those who seek it.
A lot of jobs are entry level and see turnover
Preference for internal candidates
The amount of OT pay initially
Almost everything. poor leadership, direction, and communication. The atmosphere and culture made it a challenge . It has a very factory like vibe.
Follow the campus academic calendar. Breaks.
