Compensation and Benefits Strategy: Develop and implement a pay for performance and 360-degree health strategy that supports the attraction, retention, and engagement of top talent.
Serve as SME for training content for compensation philosophy and practice.
Continuously develop direct reports to expand capability and enhance contribution.
Oversee HR systems and data integrity related to compensation and benefits.
Manage budgets for compensation and benefits programs.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Payroll, Finance, Legal, and HR to ensure seamless program administration.
Serve as a subject matter expert on total rewards and advise senior leadership on strategy and policy decisions.
Manage and maintain HRIS functionality for the disciplines in which they oversee.
Analyze key metrics and trends to assess the effectiveness of total rewards programs and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Demonstrated expertise of compensation structures, job evaluation, and benefits plan design.
Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a team.
Ability to provide leadership, work collaboratively on teams, and consult effectively and independently with all levels and functional areas of an organization.
Demonstrated project/program management skills with the ability to focus on details.

Hiring Salary Range Posted: $120,000 - $150,000.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Compensation Consultant in the C3 Practice at SullivanCotter, you will enthusiastically:
Conduct compensation analyses and position benchmarking for executives and/or staff, design and assist in evaluating total compensation programs.
Assist with managing complex projects within established budgets and regularly monitoring the success of the client experience.
Draft prospective client proposals, comprehensive work plans, presentations and reports to address client needs.
Assist in the development of junior associates, and review their work for technical accuracy, quality, completeness and timeliness.
Develop subject matter expertise, proactively sharing knowledge, use of tools, processes and methodologies established by the firm and effectively guiding junior associates in more complex research, data collection and analytics.
Conduct statistical analyses for pay equity studies, including regression modeling and analysis of data sets to identify and communicate compensation findings.
Work with Python, R, or similar tools to structure and run models, ensuring accuracy and repeatability of results (prior experience preferred, not required).
Assist in interpreting statistical outcomes and identifying drivers that may influence compensation outcomes.
Translate model findings into clear, client-ready insights, working closely with senior team members on storytelling and application.
Participate in team productivity by prioritizing work and demonstrating effective delegation of project tasks, as appropriate, to analysts and senior analysts based on skill sets, efficiency, available time and project deadlines.
Work to keep the client relationship manager apprised of project status, including delays or potential problems, holding yourself and team members accountable for client deadlines and deliverables.
Participate in client meetings and anticipating client needs and questions.
Develop and implement tools, work product templates, processes and methodologies that will improve productivity and quality.
Actively participate in workflow and client delivery meetings with a spirit of collaboration.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an experienced Associate Compensation & Benefits Tax Counsel. This role is located in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
This position reports to the VP Compensation & Benefits Tax Counsel. The candidate will provide high level technical tax and legal advice to management in the administration of the company's worldwide employee compensation and benefit plans.
Incumbent is responsible for ensuring compliance with laws and regulations applicable to employee compensation and benefits. Specifically, incumbent will advise management regarding tax and legal requirements in areas including qualified retirement plans, stock based compensation, employee welfare benefit plans, employee fringe benefits, mergers, acquisitions & divestitures, plan asset investments, and executive compensation matters. Position Requirements:
A Juris doctor degree from an accredited law school is required.
A minimum of one active state (or District of Columbia) bar admission is required.
A minimum of 10 years of experience at a law firm, accounting firm and/or major corporation advising clients or management on a wide variety of employee compensation & benefits tax and legal matters is required.
Working knowledge of the provisions of the Internal Revenue Code applicable to the taxation of employee compensation and benefits and of the Employee Retirement and Security Act of 1974 (ERISA) is required.
Experience advising on compensation and benefits matters in mergers, acquisition, and divestiture transactions is required.
Experience advising on plan asset investment matters is required.
Incumbent will also require excellent business partnering and communication skills - specifically the ability to communicate highly technical matters to management whose knowledge may be more general.
Preferred Requirements/Competencies:

▪ The expected base pay range for this position is $173,000 to $300,000.
- The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. **Position Requirements:**

▪ The expected base pay range for this position is $173,000 to $300,000.
- The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. Provide administrative support to the counseling department to include, but not limited to: Ensuring appropriate coverage at the counseling receptionist desk, greeting members as they arrive for scheduled appointments, responding to basic inquiries regarding benefits and services in accordance with 3307 R.C. and State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio (STRS Ohio) administrative rules, accepting member forms and reviewing for completeness and tracking and assigning walk in appointments.
Accountable for the indexing and sorting of counseling documents and attachments sent to the ContactUs mailbox for importing into the STRS Ohio pension processing system.
Prepare materials for counselor use during field travel and unpack upon return.
Maintain the daily counseling schedule with time off requests, assigned sessions, requested appointments, schedule changes and member education meetings to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
Prepare the counseling daily workload by assigning appointments, meetings, and phone duty for counselors in addition to notifying staff of any changes to the schedule including same day/next day appointments.

Summary of Qualifications:

Ability to lift and move parcels of up to 50 pounds required.

The Compensation and Benefits Manager will be responsible to design, implement, and manage our total rewards programs, ensuring they align with the organization's strategic objectives and support employee engagement and retention. Essential Functions:
Global Compensation Administration & Management:
* Manages base pay and variable pay compensation program design, analysis and administration. This includes incentive pay and bonus program design
* Reviews the company's compensation levels relative to identified market, developing and recommending changes to the salary structure,
* Serves as lead for conducting job evaluations and communicating results
* Responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) for U.S. based positions
* Responsible for the planning, design, administration and implementation of the annual and semiannual compensation salary planning process; including working with Finance to achieve budget expectations
* Partners with CHRO, Human Resources Business Partner and other leaders on designing and pricing any organizational structure changes
* Manages the compensation system and vendor along with other external compensation survey process and survey subscriptions
Benefits Management:
* Communicates benefit, retirement and wellness programs, ensures statutory compliance; stays abreast of upcoming legislation and communicates necessary changes accordingly
* Oversee administration of annual filings, audits, leave of absence programs and employee support
* Partners closely with outside Benefits Consultant/Broker to manage employee benefits programs such as medical, dental and vision; term life insurance plans; temporary disability programs; and accidental death policies
* Develops specifications for new plans or modifies existing plans to ensure a benefit package that is meaningful and competitive
Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Management:
* Responsible for all Payroll Administration and Timekeeping Systems
* Responsible for administration, design, end user experience, reporting and analytics for entire HRIS System
* Ensures best practice business process/workflows and other system dependencies are in place within entire people technology stack to support system users
* Oversees compliance with global, federal, state and local data protection regulations
* Partners closely with team to ensure administration of compensation programs, performance reviews, benefits and open enrollment, payroll and reporting efforts, among others in the HRIS system
* Participates in and leads special projects or other duties as needed
Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business, or equivalent discipline (Required)
