As a Compensation Specialist, you are responsible for the administration, guidance, and coordination of the company's compensation programs and related policies. You will administer and maintain compensation-related surveys and market data, and provide advice, training, and support to the HR team and other managers on compensation management principles, guidelines, procedures, and best practices.

Assist in the creation and maintenance of formal corporate compensation structure and plans, including incentive, commission, and bonus structures.Conduct market analysis of pay grades and ranges as needed utilizing nationally recognized and statistically validated salary surveys and comparable industry data when applicable; participate in nationally recognized salary surveys.Provide training and instruction to HR team and field leadership in the day-to-day application of compensation programs, policies, and procedures.Collaborate with HR Business Partners in the analysis and review of job classification and reclassification requests; quality controls the job classification process for both existing positions and newly created positions, and performing job audits as appropriate.Research and analyze competitive compensation practices in the job market; contribute to established compensation surveys, and/or develop and implement custom surveys as appropriate.Evaluate job descriptions to accurately benchmark (internally and externally) and price roles in the organization.Maintain and update compensation databases; consult with HR systems analysts regarding problems with programming and data integrity; make recommendations for system enhancements.Maintain compensation, incentive, and bonus plan documents, including revision tracking.Assist and collaborate in the planning, coordination, facilitation, administration, and reporting of the annual salary reviews for merit pay.Remain informed and current on state and federal employment laws related Wage & Hour and other compensation-related regulations and laws.

Job Description:

The Compensation Specialist reports to the Compensation Manager and provides operational and technical support for all CHC compensation programs. This entails creating strong business partnerships through collaboration with management and assisting with salary programs, market analyses, merit planning, internal equity reviews, salary range evaluation and job description creation.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
