Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced **Principal/Sr. Principal** **International Trade Compliance Analyst** for its location in **McLean, VA; Linthicum, MD; or Huntsville, AL** . This position will report to the Manager of International Trade Compliance ("ITC") of the Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) Operating Unit. **Position Description:** The successful candidate will have solid work experience in the defense industry with past work experience in the areas of contracting, international trade and/or legal. The position will be responsible for integrating export/import regulations into business processes; applying for all DDTC and BIS licenses and ensuring legal compliance to maximize business outcomes for the Global C2 Solutions Business Unit. **Specific areas of responsibilities include:** + Work with various functional areas to determine their export/import needs, and develop and implement appropriate strategies to meet business requirements and ensure full compliance with all regulatory agencies + Prepare and submit necessary export/import authorization requests required to support international capture opportunities within the Global C2 Solutions Business Unit + Review and approve international travel requests, foreign visit requests, and export/import transactions of hardware, data and services. + Coordinate closely with USG Program Executive Office and internal stakeholders on alignment of technology release policy with NG C2 capture strategy and development + Provide guidance and interpretation of US government regulations including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) + Assist in the development and implementation of trade compliance policies and procedures, such as internal control plans for approved authorizations + Manage all post approval activities such as recordkeeping, reporting requirements, approvals for data exports and international shipping authorizations + Perform compliance assessments of license and agreement files and assist as necessary in any investigations of potential compliance violations + Support and implementation of corrective actions that result from export/import compliance violations + Prepare and deliver to programs, export and import internal control plans and proviso reviews + Conduct export/import training and provide formal and informal communication/guidance to internal and external customers regarding all conditions of the export and import authorizations + Assist in the review of export and import clauses in international new business contracts and provide recommendations + Review of program contractual statements of work to assist in the development of the work scope for each export/import authorization(s) + Make formal presentations in meetings, training environments and respond to questions from management, employees,
