**Position Summary**
We are looking for a **Retail Compliance Specialist** to join the Western Digital Fulfillment Operations Team to be responsible for the management of our Retail Chargeback program, including investigating and data analyzing chargebacks, recurring trend analysis, projecting customer penalties and process documentation. This role will serve as a subject matter expert on retailer programs and supporting process improvement initiatives with internal and external functions to reduce financial losses from invalid chargebacks. The ideal candidate possesses excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to work cross-functionally and strong communication skills.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Experience with retail compliance and penalty programs (e.g., Walmart's OTIF - On Time In Full, Amazon Vendor Central, Target's requirements) involving tracking and analyzing vendor penalties, such as chargebacks, late deliveries, labeling errors, incorrect shipments. Review and validate claims received from retail partners to determine legitimacy and compliance with contractual terms.
+ Should be subject matter expert on Retail routing guides, SLAs, penalty clauses and primary point of contact for internal and external partners on any routing guide changes/ compliance developments impacting retailer shipping methods.
+ Drive chargeback data scraping and running complex operational data analysis from ERP systems into measurable insights for budgeting and forecasting on chargeback volume and revenue. Develop and manage reporting dashboards, conduct monthly and quarterly business reporting to management on penalty root causes, recurrence rates, and vendor performance KPI.
+ Research chargeback disputes by analyzing supporting documentation such as purchase orders, invoices, shipping records, and EDI data. Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Operations, Logistics, IT and Finance) to gather required documentation and resolve discrepancies.
+ File and track chargeback disputes within specified deadlines to ensure timely recovery of funds. Maintain detailed and organized records of all chargeback activities for audit and reporting purposes.
+ Identify trends, root causes, and recurring chargeback issues; recommend process improvements to minimize future deductions. Streamline process by proposing policy or system changes within WD and external warehouse partners to improve compliance.
+ Lead effective communications with Retailers and drive joint improvement opportunities.
+ Conduct quarterly training to cross functional teams - Sales operations, fulfillment, transportation on retailer compliance updates.
**Qualifications**
**Education:**
Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field (preferred).
**Experience:**
+ 3-5 years of experience in chargeback resolution, accounts receivable, or retail deductions (consumer goods, retail, or distribution industry preferred).
+ Strong skills in data analysis using Excel, SQL, or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)

Job Summary:
We have an immediate opening for an Environmental Science Specialist in our MONITOR & PROTECTION Unit, Water Quality Division. As a member of the Monitoring and Protection Unit, you will play a key role in encouraging and assisting public water systems throughout the state to comply with the Safe Drinking Water Act and associated regulations. This includes implementing new and evolving drinking water related legislation, such as lead service line inventories and the control of PFAS-related contaminants. As a Compliance Assistance Coordinator (CAC) within the Safe Drinking Water Section, you will serve as a subject matter expert and liaison between the regulated community, the public, and our agency.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.
Position is 90% remote and 10% field/office.

Job Duties:
• Serve as an expert on the Safe Drinking Water Act and related regulations, providing guidance to ADEQ staff, public water system owners, operators, and other stakeholders.
• Assist public water systems, certified operators, and responsible parties in ensuring compliance with federal and state environmental laws and regulations. Provide the initial response to drinking water quality issues, collaborating with enforcement officers to escalate violations when necessary.
• Review water system sampling plans, Consumer Confidence Reports, and other reporting for completeness and accuracy.
• Conduct water quality data analysis to determine validity, quality, and scientific significance, interpreting correlations between data, human activities, and environmental effects.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
• Knowledge of the Federal Clean Water Act.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to understand and interpret drinking water rules and statutes, and prepare clear, concise, and accurate communications.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with the Safe Drinking Water Act, Arizona Administrative Code (specifically drinking water rules), and agency policies and processes, including County, State, and Federal drinking water regulations.
• Knowledge of Arizona's drinking water industry, techniques for preventing and remediating water quality issues, and environmental enforcement processes. Experience or certifications in drinking water system operations, environmental risk, public health, hydrology, geology, environmental law/policy, or project management is advantageous.
• Ability or experience in environmental inspections, regulatory compliance, public health, conflict resolution, and environmental complaint response is a plus. Familiarity with Lean methodologies to identify problems and improve team processes, with the aim of reducing waste and enhancing customer service.
Selective Preference(s):
• Bachelor's degree in environmental science/studies/technology, earth sciences, statistics, mathematics, chemistry, biology, environmental management, or chemical/environmental engineering or an equivalent science discipline.
• ESS1 (grade 20): 0-2 years environmental experience (Master's degree may substitute for 2 years' experience).

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Provide regulatory support to Department of Energy Hanford's environmental staff.
Assist the Environmental Compliance Division (ECD) Director in evaluating Environmental Compliance Support Specialists' performance in regulatory permitting activities, environmental compliance programs, and inspection/readiness activities; identifying environmental/regulatory performance issues that could impact the Tank Farms and Waste Treatment & Immobilization Plant (WTP) cost and schedule; and recommending effective and prompt strategies/solutions for driving/improving Environmental Compliance Support Specialists' performance.
Review permit documents media, design packages, and modifications.
Conduct walkdowns of field work, consolidation of comments for Department of Energy submittal to Environmental Compliance Support Specialist, as well as comment resolution.
Support reviews of dangerous waste permit and air permitting submittals (for both radioactive and toxic air emissions).
Support regulatory inspections at the Tank Farms and Waste Treatment & Immobilization Plant (WTP), involving review of responses to inspection reports for responsiveness, accuracy, and compliance with the regulations.
Interaction with the environmental regulators.
Conduct regulatory analysis on the applicability, implement ability, and impacts of environmental regulations, including new and proposed regulations.
Work with the Environmental Compliance Division Director to create a strategic electronic binder of regulatory letters to be used for strategic planning.
Attend meetings held within Richland or on site at the WTP or Hanford Tank Farms.
