The Role
Great Gray is looking to add a Sr ComplianceAnalyst to our Compliance Team.
The Senior Compliance Advisor sits in Great Gray's Risk and Compliance Department, working closely with our first line business to manage risk in the marketing and sales of services and products. This position will report to the Chief Compliance Officer and assist in developing, administering and implementing marketing compliance policies and procedures in the sale and offer of trust and fiduciary products and services, as well as complementary administrative services and technology solutions, to the institutional market, including consultants, advisors, fiduciaries, and service providers to retirement plans.
The ideal candidate will have worked in a law firm, consulting, in-house, or regulatory setting with experience in applying securities law and general anti-fraud principles to regulated and non-regulated products and services. While Great Gray does not carry FINRA licenses, it will be helpful if the candidates has passed one or more of the following FINRA qualification exams: Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 6, 7, 24, 63, 65 and/or 66.
We are looking for an experienced and talented compliance professional who can partner with our business colleagues to identify and proactively address regulatory matters and develop compliant solutions to business needs. The Specialist will review advertising in a timely fashion to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies. The role requires providing input and direction to assist business partners with marketing our products and advancing our brand in a compliant manner.
Location
This position will can work from any of our office locations - Boston, MA; Wilmington, DE; or Las Vegas, NV. Great Gray currently supports a hybrid work model with 4 days onsite in the office and 1 day remote.

Responsibilities
Tracking and reviewing advertising and sales literature involving institutional sales and marketing of Collective Investment Trusts (CIT) and administrative services and products, with a focus on marketing CIT product analytics.
Assist with the design and development of and review updates to online portals product offerings, videos, client/conference presentations, and social media communications and postings for adherence to regulatory and internal requirements such as anti-fraud principles to ensure communications are accurate, fair and balanced, and not misleading.
Partner with legal, marketing, product and sales groups to achieve business goals while adhering to acceptable risk parameters.
Stay abreast of new laws, regulations, and industry trends, and recommend changes to policies and processes to incorporate evolving risk and compliance matters.
Conduct compliance training to empower business to learn and implement best compliance practices in the creation of the marketing materials.
The role is a hands-on position. A successful candidate will be eager and able to move seamlessly between shifting priorities and partner with the business to manage and achieve expectations.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree with a preference for Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a complianceanalyst, legal analyst, paralegal or paraprofessional, with strong preference for experience working in a law firm's investment management or securities practice, a financial services firm, such as a broker-dealer, mutual fund company, or other asset manager, or a fintech firm with responsibility for regulatory compliance review of marketing materials of registered or unregistered investment products, securities or services.
Current or past FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, 63, 65 and/or 66 certifications is a plus, but not required (Great Gray does not carry those certifications).
Advanced decision-making, problem-solving and analytical skills with particular attention to detail and accuracy.
Demonstrated ability to be organized, work independently and maintain quality of work while meeting established deadlines.

ROLE of the POSITION
The position of Research Integrity Officer (RICO) has broad responsibilities related to the research ethics and integrity program at UNLV. This includes the responsible conduct of research training and education program (RCR), evaluation and triage of reported concerns related to research at UNLV, and handling of the research misconduct assessment, inquiry, and investigation process at UNLV. Further, the RICO works to ensure a consistent response and enforcement to misconduct allegations and other incidents of research noncompliance.
The RICO will develop and provide in-person Responsible Conduct of Research training to faculty, staff, and students as needed based on the policies regulations identified by NIH, NSF, USDA-NIFA and UNLV. The RIO will incorporate active learning that varies by discipline area and career stage, including a mentorship program based on the same policies and regulations.
The RIO will develop, coordinate, implement, and analyze quality assurance/quality improvement (QA/QI) processes to ensure compliance with federal, state, local, institutional regulations and policy; including conducting for-cause and not-for-cause audits, as appropriate, to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and policies at all relevant levels.
The RICO is responsible for monitoring federal and state regulations and agency policies related to Research Misconduct, Responsible Conduct of Research, and QA/QI functions to ensure investigator and institutional compliance. The RICO will maintain and update UNLV policy and standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Finally, the RIO will perform additional duties that impact research compliance based on the expertise and experience that they bring to the position. This may include developing additional training and education programs as aligned with the incumbent's expertise.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and at least 5 years of related experience or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of related experience. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants with a Master's degree, Ph.D., or J.D. are preferred. Seven to nine years of related experience preferred. Experience in research administration or compliance is preferred. Experience in higher education highly preferred.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Job Qualifications:

* Assist the Compliance Manager with concluding, reporting, and presenting audit weaknesses to operational departments, assist with facilitating and tracking required Title 31 training, and assist with all aspects of Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) including the analysis of risk related transactions, compile suspicious activity documentation, research and document related information from Lexis Nexis and the internet into the "Know Your Customer" (KYC) spreadsheets, present suspicious activity to the Compliance Committee and submit SARs to FinCen
* Establish and maintain working relationships with all levels of staff in the Compliance Department, with operational departments, and internal/external auditors
* Assist the Compliance Manager in compiling and distributing information requested by Corporate Compliance
* Responsible for document retention of Title 31 related materials
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
* High School Diploma or GED required
* 1+ years of prior relevant casino related audit experience required
