**ABOUT THE ROLE**
This position will manage all aspects of Amrize's US Indirect Tax compliance matters. This will include management of business processes and functions that impact compliance within SAP, Vertex Returns, and OneSource Returns. Management of customer tax credits and procedures, tax software monthly updates, amended returns, use tax analysis and reporting. In addition, oversee sales, use, business & occupational licenses and annual reports prepared by the shared service center, providing appropriate support where needed; assist with sales and use tax audits and appeals; work in conjunction with the accounting manager on sales & use account reconciliations. The position will identify areas and opportunities for tax recovery, conduct reverse audits; monitor and develop tax policies and procedures, including field-training company personnel on best practices; and act as a specialized subject matter expert for day-to-day transactions with regards to indirect tax impacts, including identification, development and implementation of best practices to reduce cash tax exposure and liability.
**WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH**
