Initial focus will be on forced labor, country of origin, hazardous substances, conflict minerals, and supplier onboarding process management. - Understand regulatory compliance and policy requirements, create and document the business process and workflow, create training material, train employees and suppliers, measure key performance indicators and drive process improvements. - Manage the supplier compliance processes, engage with stakeholders to implement supplier improvements and measure supply base performance. - Manage supplier compliance to regulation by determining affected tier 1 and tier 2 supplier manufacturing sites, access risk, work with sourcing manager and suppliers to schedule compliance audits or assessments, understand outcomes and work with suppliers to complete corrective action plans and measure supplier performance metrics. The Director of Global Environmental & Chemical Compliance leads a world-class team of EHS and Chemical Management professionals passionate about advancing strategies to ensure compliance. This role is pivotal in adhering to existing and emerging global environmental and chemical regulations, while proactively preparing the organization for future obligations. Responsibilities: * Strategic Leadership: Coordinate Micron's global chemical and environmental compliance initiatives, ensuring alignment with federal, state, and international regulations. This includes air, wastewater, and waste compliance, hazardous material handling, and emergency response protocols. * Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee conformance to all applicable environmental laws and regulations in every region where Micron conducts business. Track updates in environmental legislation and promptly modify company policies as needed. * Policy Development: Build and lead all aspects of environmental policies and programs that promote regulatory compliance. * Collaborator Engagement: Work together with internal and external partners, including government agencies, industry groups, and non-governmental organizations, to promote Micron's environmental compliance and chemical management goals. * Reporting and Transparency: Coordinate the preparation of detailed global environmental compliance reports for internal and external collaborators. Ensure transparency and accuracy in all sustainability disclosures. * Innovation and Standards: Champion innovative ways, including embracing artificial intelligence solutions, and standards in environmental compliance and chemical management to drive continuous improvement. * Training and Risk Mitigation: Coordinate the creation of training programs for environmental and chemical compliance. Establish procedures for handling potential compliance risks and lead planning to address critical issues. * Regulatory Strategy and Engagement: Maintain the source of truth for current and prospective environmental regulations across all regions. Engage with external consortia (e.g., SEMI, SIA, WSC) to build regulatory frameworks and provide feedback to government authorities. * Program and Policy Development: Design and refine global environmental compliance frameworks and performance indicators. Work closely with site EHS teams to ensure quick dissemination of regulatory updates and their consequences. Advance the deployment of environmental management systems such as ISO14001. * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside legal, procurement, technology development, HVM, and facilities teams to guarantee systems, processes, and documentation are established to achieve compliance and manage chemical risks. Lead or engage in cross-functional projects to incorporate chemical compliance into broader EHS and sustainability strategies. * Audit and Permitting Oversight: Partner with global and site audit teams to conduct regular compliance audits. Support site expansion and technology transfer permitting activities to ensure operational readiness and regulatory alignment.     We are seeking a detail-oriented Federal Wage Compliance Analyst to support certified payroll compliance for a large construction program funded under the CHIPS Act. The Federal Wage Compliance Analyst will work within the project accounting and document control departments and will report to the site Accounting Manager. This position will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts (DBRA), applicable prevailing wage laws, and federal reporting requirements. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Certified Payroll Administration Review and verify weekly certified payroll submissions in Elation Systems for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Davis-Bacon wage determinations and fringe benefit requirements. Monitor contractor and subcontractor submissions through Elation Systems to ensure timely reporting. Compliance Monitoring & Enforcement Audit payrolls to confirm correct classifications, wage rates, and fringe benefit allocations as documented in Elation Systems. Identify, document, and communicate compliance discrepancies; coordinate corrective actions with contractors. Maintain digital compliance logs, wage determinations, and correspondence records within the software. Contractor/Subcontractor Coordination Provide training and guidance to subcontractors on using Elation Systems for certified payroll submissions. Regulatory Reporting & Documentation Generate compliance reports from Elation Systems for internal leadership, owners, and government agencies. EXPERIENCE Minimum three to five (3-5) years of experience in payroll compliance, labor compliance, or construction payroll administration.
