This position performs various regulatory compliance duties and utilizes basic subject matter knowledge to complete tasks within required deadlines. The incumbent contributes to customer loyalty and retention by adhering to and assessing established processes while making recommendations for process enhancements.
This position is responsible for preparing regulatory filings and legal documents. Utilize regulatory knowledge to review or research processes and provide recommendations while working both independently and within a team to resolve moderately complex problems.
This position will also be the primary support for the Legal Department's management of contracts.
This is a hybrid role working partially in-office (Lincoln, NE) and partially from home.
What you do:
Work within a team setting to make required SEC filings within required timeframes. These SEC filings are highly detailed and are prepared with multiple levels of review by other team members and the managing attorney. The incumbent in this role must be able to work with a high degree of accuracy and be comfortable having their work reviewed. The busy season for filing work is January-May 1

Work on Legal Department initiatives and projects as assigned.
Be the primary support for the Legal Department management of contracts. On a daily basis the incumbent will use software to track, assign, and store agreements. This will be an ongoing responsibility in addition to SEC filings. This role will also support other attorneys (outside of primary) working with agreements including, finding past agreements, gathering information, initial review, tracking of progress and deadlines, populating templates, and coordination of contract edits.
Collaborate with manager to ensure awareness, assess applicability, and make timely and adequate documentation updates to meet regulatory requirements.
Evaluate and update processes and procedures to assure compliance and efficiency. This role will create procedures for new processes and maintain and update existing procedures as needed.
Conduct regulatory research and analysis.
Assist with internal and external regulatory requests or requirements by gathering documents, information, and preparing responses for internal or external requests.
Communicate with internal and external business partners to promote their understanding and compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
Assemble information for various periodic reports; assist attorney to develop standardized forms for standard legal documents and requests, records management, and offsite storage/retrieval coordination.

Assess and determine need for regulatory notifications. Defend registration process deviations (variations) to USDA and other appropriate regulatory agencies.

Meta evaluates sites around the world for data center development, and is seeking a team member to lead and manage environmental compliance for North America site development efforts.This position will report directly to the Environmental Compliance Program Team Manager within the overall Site Development team. Environmental technical expertise and proven communication, organizational, and program management skills are required for this position. Travel may be needed approximately 20% of the time to visit sites, as well as attend internal, agency, and stakeholder meetings.
**Required Skills:**
Environmental Compliance Program Manager Responsibilities:
1. Lead environmental compliance program efforts, across North America data centers from construction through operations. Program efforts may include, but are not limited to: air permitting and notifications, biological surveys, stormwater management, fuel management, emergency planning and community right-to-know (EPCRA), and spill prevention control and countermeasures (SPCC)
2. Interpret and communicate technical environmental requirements, identify compliance issues, act as a subject matter expert, and coordinate key initiatives with external partners (general contractors), consultants, and internal partners (environmental health and safety (EHS), facility personnel, legal, and other stakeholders)
3. Assess compliance findings and risk, and provide direction on investigation, corrective action(s), and compliance requirements to applicable stakeholders. Coordinate environmental incident investigation(s) as applicable
4. Prepare, submit, and/or complete technical reviews of reports and notifications to federal, state, and local government agencies
5. Develop and implement training and educational tools to support construction and operations teams in meeting regulatory obligations and permit requirements
6. Conduct compliance assessments/site visits, and communicate findings and solutions
7. Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for environmental compliance
8. Travel domestically and internationally, as needed

9. Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, planning, or other related field
10. 7+ years of experience in environmental compliance
11. Experience effectively managing multiple projects and coordinating with internal staff (including cross functional teams), external consultants, vendors, construction contractors, regulators, and other stakeholders
12. Experience working effectively in teams, to establish and maintain cross-functional and impactful working relationships
13. Experience effectively communicating technical information including complex regulatory requirements
14. Experience working with highly confidential information
15. Experience with data management (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets) and environmental management information systems
16. Experience working in pivoting organizations, including application of best practices in unusual and test/pilot settings
17. Experience managing time-sensitive projects through to completion while balancing evolving priorities and a broad range of stakeholders
18. Experience identifying and mitigating environmental compliance risk, escalating to appropriate stakeholders

As a Senior Analyst, Compliance TMS Operations within the CX Compliance team, you will be responsible for conducting end-to-end Transaction Monitoring investigations for customers (individuals/entities) that may lead to drafting and filing a SAR. * Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in financial services, crypto, investigations, legal, or the tech industry, with a focus on TMS, compliance, or regulatory matters.
* Relevant experience in SAR narrative drafting and filing
* Conduct investigative review and analysis in support of company's BSA/AML regulatory compliance policies and programs including investigating automated alerts from our transaction monitoring systems, and referrals sourced from law enforcement requests and other company lines of business
* Analyze transaction activity and KYC information and conduct due diligence research in support of investigations as well as interpret evidence from external tools and systems to determine the legitimacy of customer behavior across multiple products
* Document investigations in written narratives
* Decide whether activity warrants escalation for additional review and subsequently recommend whether activity appears suspicious and warrants filing of a suspicious activity report
* Incorporate feedback from Quality Assurance Team
* Maintain detailed documentation to demonstrate compliance with regulations and internal policies and procedures
