What is a component design engineer and how to become one

Component designer engineers create parts for various machines and devices. They design, oversee the production, and test components for machines used in many different industries, from aviation to manufacturing, IT, telecommunications, and many more.

Your job will be to make machine parts that are reliable and effective. You will be involved in various stages of production, starting from research and product development, to compliance and design. You might specialize in one of these areas, or you might work on testing or installing components. You will carry out your duties as a member of a team of engineers and you might be entrusted with a consultant role to advise on manufacturing processes.

Pros

Hardware Design Engineer's are few intellectuals in a company who has exposure to all the aspects of product life cycle. It needs versatile knowledge of all most of the things. I feel passionate dealing with electronics components and analyzing them. It is a flexible job. It is a Real time job.
