I am known to be a highly analytical thinker with expertise in team development, cash / risk management, corporate insurance, bank / audit relationships, modeling, management and cost accounting, ERP implementation, M&A strategies, multi-site operation management, GAAP / SEC reporting, KPI dashboards, and SOX compliance.

I am a goal-driven leader and team builder with strong operations and cost accounting experience and a knack for implementing structural improvements that drive significant growth and operational excellence.

In earlier career experience I achieved success serving as the chief financial officer for Star Transport in Morton, IL, a long haul truckload carrier with revenues exceeding $130 million; as finance manager for Advanced Technology Services in Peoria, IL, an outsourcing service company providing manufacturing maintenance, IT services, and industrial parts repair to large manufacturing firms; as finance manager for Foster & Gallagher in Peoria, IL, a multi-site direct marketing firm with revenues of $450 million; and as senior accountant/auditor with Price Waterhouse Coopers in Peoria, IL, a Big 4 audit firm, including substantial audit experience at Caterpillar.
