Job Title: Sales & Business Development Specialist
Base salary starting at $75,000 annually (based on experience)
On-Target Earnings (OTE): $120,000-$140,000, based on referral growth, territory performance, and business development success
Position Summary
We're looking for a Sales & Business Development Specialist to help grow our Practice Management Services by identifying and engaging independent O&P practices and converting them into long-term partners. You'll own the full sales cycle-from prospecting and outreach to closing and handing off to onboarding-while helping shape how we deliver value to our clients.
This is a hands-on, mid-level role suited for someone who's proactive, consultative, and confident managing opportunities independently. You'll work closely with leadership and operations, contribute market insight, and play a direct role in building the business.
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to signed partnership agreements
Research and identify independent O&P practices and related healthcare organizations
Conduct proactive outreach via phone, email, campaigns, events, and personal networks
Follow up on inbound interest and build a strong, consistent sales pipeline
Lead introductory calls and coordinate deeper discovery with internal stakeholders
Help shape sales materials, proposals, and presentations tailored to client needs
Keep CRM records (HubSpot or Zoho) organized, timely, and up to date
Collaborate with operations, marketing, and leadership to ensure smooth onboarding
Share field-level insights to help improve our messaging, offerings, and positioning
Who We're Looking For
3-6 years of experience in business development, client-facing sales, or recruitment
Experience working in or around healthcare, medical services, or professional services
Exposure to RCM, billing, or practice management is a plus-but not a requirement
Strong communicator with a consultative, relationship-building approach
Organized and self-motivated; able to manage multiple leads with minimal oversight
Comfortable with outbound outreach and using CRM tools to manage pipeline
Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed to events, clinics, or client meetings
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: Starting at $75,000+, commensurate with experience

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
State of Illinois Nurse Aide certification required or has met the State of Illinois Department of Public Health waiver standards designating him or her a qualified Nurse Aide by virtue of past training, employment history, and on the job experience.
Required attendance of in-services and online training required to maintain certification.
1-2 years of experience in geriatric care setting, nursing home or other related health care facility preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Lifts and carries light objects such as resident charts, thermometers, linen, resident care treatment items, appliances, etc., ranging from less than 10 to 25 pounds without assistance.
Sustained physical activity throughout the work period. Performs work tasks involving pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, carrying, transferring, and lifting various weight up to 25 pounds without assistance and over 25 pounds with assistance.
Pushes/pulls residents weighting 75-250 pounds in wheel chairs and geri-chairs on hard surfaces and carpeted floors.
Stand or walk up to 90 percent of assigned shift to provide resident care and assistance.
Perform tasks which require hand-eye coordination such as recording resident weights and food intake, temperature taking, adjusting bathtub temperature setting, etc.
Reaching overhead is required to obtain linens and stock from shelves ranging from floor to 6 feet, and to remove or replace resident items on closet shelves.
A sense of balance is required to safely transfer residents from one area to another, such as chair to bed, toilet to chair, etc.
Able to wear gloves and other protective equipment.
