Responsibilities
Design and develop high-quality models using 2D and 3D CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Leica Cloudworx for AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Whitecloud.
Produce designs that meet targets for feasibility, performance, costs, quality, safety, legislation, and timing.
Create two- and three-dimensional technical drawings, renderings, and elevations.
Perform site visits to measure and capture layouts in 3D, ensuring accuracy of designs.
Apply knowledge of pipes, liquids, valves, HVAC systems, and P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) to design solutions that meet client needs.
Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to deliver integrated solutions.
Ensure compliance with company design, safety, quality, environmental, and procedural standards.
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to align designs with project goals.
Qualifications
Practical experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D, SolidWorks, Pro/ENGINEER, Navisworks, and Whitecloud.
Background in HVAC design, piping systems, valves, and P&ID development highly desirable.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Attention to detail
Ability to conduct site measurements and translate them into accurate 3D models.

What you'll do as a Fire Alarm CAD Drafter/Designer
Design 2D drawings, submittal and record/as-built (system drawings, bill of material, compile operating manuals, calculations etc.) for fire alarm systems under the instruction of the design manager. Manage CAD files, document revisions and engineering documents per company standards.

**What You'll Be Doing**
As a Design Engineer, you'll be designing and integrating cutting-edge hydraulic systems. You'll be placing pumps, motors, valves, and cylinders, and designing the network of hoses, tubes, and sheet metal that brings these machines to life.

**What Skills You Will Have:**
+ **Technical Excellence** Experienced in **hydraulic and/or engine installation** (or a related design field) with a background in construction, mining, or agricultural equipment. Skilled across multiple engineering functions; Creo experience is a plus.
+ **Project Management** Experienced in planning, estimating, and managing projects. Able to identify risks, develop contingency plans, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders. Capable of conducting regular reviews and implementing effective control mechanisms to ensure project success.
+ **Requirements Analysis** Experienced in documenting and modeling functional requirements. Proficient in using advanced tools for prototyping and ensuring traceability. Able to lead quality reviews and guide teams through thorough requirements analysis.
+ **Troubleshooting Technical Problems** Capable of resolving high-impact equipment and system issues using advanced diagnostics. Experienced in evaluating business impact, monitoring performance trends, and mentoring others in complex, multi-vendor environments.
**Degree Requirement:**
Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.
**Summary Pay Range:**
$95,640.00 - $143,520.00
