The Survey CAD Technician supports licensed surveyors and field crews by processing field data, performing boundary and survey calculations, and preparing accurate survey drawings, exhibits, and plats. Duties/Responsibilities:
• Drafts boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, construction staking, easement, and as-built surveys.
• Processes raw field data collected from GPS, total stations, and level runs.
• Performs boundary analysis, closure calculations, and record research under the supervision of a licensed surveyor.
• Prepares legal descriptions, survey exhibits, and related documents for municipal and county submittals.
• Prepares final plats for review and approval by municipalities and governing agencies.
• Researches jurisdictional submittal requirements and ensures plats and survey documents comply with all local and client requirements.

Key Deliverables

Responsibilities
Develop drawings for the installation of automatic sprinkler systems, which are to be installed in commercial and residential buildings. These drawings will be produced in accordance with the building set of construction drawings, so the ability to read construction plans is a must.
Drawings must be submitted to and approved by both the OAC team (Owner, Architect, Engineer and General Contractor) and the Building Codes office. Drawings must be designed in accordance with applicable codes, so a thorough understanding of NFPA codes is necessary.
Drawings are produced using both AutoCAD and HydraCAD software in 2-D and 3-D applications.
Coordination between trades is necessary whether it be done in an old-school application or performed using BIM software in a 3-D model.
The A/S System piping must be sized based upon the available water supply. A hydraulic analysis is performed using either Hydratec or HASS software.
Fabrication lists are provided with Hydratec software. All A/S piping is prefabricated by a third-party fabrication shop and shipped to the jobsite for installation.
Work closely with the General Contractor to ensure the project is installed: In compliance with the construction drawings, on schedule, and within budget.
Drawings must be approved and fabrication lists be prepared on time in order to meet the construction schedule. Changes to the scope of the project must be identified, and change order requests must be submitted to the G.C. for incorporation into the project scope.
Work closely with our co-workers. Common material purchases will be coordinated through our shop manager. Pipe installation will be coordinated through both our field superintendent and our field crews. Change order requests will be coordinated with our sales staff.
Job site visits will be required to ensure that our installation is being installed in accordance with our approved sprinkler drawings. Job site visits will also be required to attend scheduled meetings with the General contractor.
Establish relationships with general contractors, vendors, codes officials and co-workers to establish a profitable project. We want the G.C. to look forward to working with us again. JOB SUMMARY
Driver will be responsible for loading/unloading material and staging in correct areas of each department responsible for the type of material being delivered. Use of scanners when moving material from one warehouse to another, forklift operations, and driving a truck. Home every day/night Mon-Fri operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Route/activity: Truck drivers are responsible for delivering semi-finished and finished goods material to either plant operations or end customer.
Shift: Start time begin either 0600 or 1800 M-F. Home daily
Equipment: 2023 Freightliner Cascadia with flatbed trailer. Day cabs only
Driving an assigned truck daily and ensuring all company, federal and/or state law, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines are followed.
Completing checklists to ensure there are no issues with the equipment/trailer.
Reporting all accidents, traffic violations, and damage before and after route.
Acting as a main contact for end customer deliveries
Material Handling requirements as needed.
Tarping material as required.
Drivers must be registered with FMCSA clearinghouse
Flexible to schedule changes or requirements depending on situation, including Weekends.
COMPETENCIES
Valid CDL Class A license
Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently
Current or ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card is required
3 years DMV/MVR record with no moving violations or accidents
Reliable with excellent customer service skills
Focused on safety not only on the road but also at the plants or customer sites.
Forklift experience with industrial size material is helpful but not required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must be 21 years or older
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 5 years driving experience
Flatbed experience preferred but not required
1-year documented tractor/trailer experience in the past 3 years or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the past 5 years
