The CAD Drafter must be able to: Interpret plans and specifications Handle designing and drafting assignments under minimal supervision. Create drawings from written and verbal specifications from start to end Work closely with Estimators and Project Managers to ensure coordination design effort is maintained. Review drawings for completeness and accuracy. Maintain all revisions of project drawings. Examine and check engineering drawings for compliance with cited specifications Pay attention to details Communicate with Estimators / Project Managers Keep supervisor informed of your workloads and progress Improve industry knowledge and skills Professional appearance Participate in project meetings and conference calls as required.
