As a CAD Designer for Civil & Environmental Consultants Inc. (CEC), you'll work with project managers to produce civil site, water resources, stream restoration, and solid waste construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D to include site plans, grading & drainage plans, utility plans, erosion control plans, storm and sewer profiles. Responsibilities: Create fabrication & assembly prints from engineering designs Communicate technical details with engineers and fabricators Develop and configure standard components in the SolidWorks library Requirements: 2+ years of experience with SolidWorks mechanical drafting experience Solid understanding of basic manufacturing processes, i.e. milling, lathing, welding Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel) Experience with PDM software (preferred) PowerBuilt Material Handling Solutions, LLC is an equal opportunity employer

All of our products are customized to our customers' specifications. Candidates should have experience: Producing drawings from scratch or implementing updates on existing drawings Creating 3D models for customer projects Producing shop drawings Revising models and drawings as needed Generating BOM for projects Skills and Qualifications include: Proficent in SolidWorks/Inventor and AutoCad Proficent in Microsoft Word and Excel Highly detailed oriented Excellent problem solving skills Must be able to handle many projects at once Strong communications skills, must be able to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and shop employees.
