Essential Functions:
Develop detailed 3D models and 2D fabrication drawings for atmospheric and pressure-rated storage tanks.
Generate precise Bills of Materials, including weld fittings, nozzles, manways, and structural components.
Interpret and apply API 650/620/653, ASME Section VIII, UL-142, and UL-2085 standards in tank design.
Utilize AWS D1.1 and related codes for welding details, symbols, and joint specifications.
Revise drawings as needed to reflect internal review feedback, customer revisions, and contract changes.
Collaborate with fabricators to resolve manufacturing queries and support production needs.
Update drawings per as-built markups and maintain version control.
Produce and organize drawing packages in PDF format for release.
Simultaneously manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
Visit the shop floor or fabrication yard to verify field fit-ups and gather design data when necessary.
Respond promptly to production or QA issues related to design or documentation.

* Reliable attendance and excellent communication skills, with the capacity to interact with both internal teams (Project Coordinator, Engineering Manager) and occasional customer contacts.
* High-level CAD drafting proficiency; Autodesk Inventor experience is highly preferred.
* Proficient in 3D modeling.
* Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication is a plus.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
