Primary Responsibilities
This position will design and assist to coordinate the development of new products, new product features and new product extensions. The specific responsibilities, experience and knowledge requirements are as follows:
Generate multiple design concepts to solve design problems while working independently and within cross-functional teams.
Present 3D SOLIDWORKS Design concepts for review.
Create drawings and define per ASME and company standards.
Create and manage engineering changes orders to implement parts, assemblies, and bill of materials.
Coordinate prototype orders with vendors and fabrication staff.
Perform tolerance stack-ups to ensure assembly and fabrication capabilities.
Application of GD&T
Active member of the new product development team with willingness to work with internal and external customers.
Support of all build activities. Hands-on involvement and desire to verify fit and function of design intent.
Self- starter who is able to satisfy their goals and timelines.
Ability to adhere to company standards and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
Associate degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent.
Experience in Product Design, sheet metal working, plastic part design, wiring layouts & schematic design, basic understanding of metal working tools and processes, and any hands-on shop experience.
Familiarity with SOLIDWORKS, MS Office Suite.

We are seeking one to two Mechanical Drafters to support a short-term, four-month project in Hartland, WI. The ideal candidates will have strong SolidWorks skills and will focus primarily on converting prints into solid models while supporting engineering and manufacturing teams. This is a hands-on role requiring technical accuracy, collaboration, and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Support new product development projects.
Analyze, develop, and test designs to meet specific customer requirements.
Execute customer orders and configure equipment based on project specifications.
Design and 3D model machine components and process systems using SolidWorks.
Prepare and review detailed drawings; collaborate closely with Manufacturing and Sales teams.
Select components, assemblies, and materials based on technical data and vendor offerings.
Generate and release complete Bills of Material (BoMs) for manufacturing.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge and experience in SolidWorks required.
Experience with AutoCAD or other 2D drawing software preferred.
Lean Manufacturing experience a plus.
Proficient with spreadsheet and word-processing software.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Education
Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
Equivalent industrial or hands-on engineering experience also considered.
