This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in creative and varied design projects. Responsibilities * Design custom lift assists and fixtures, focusing on unique solutions as there is no standard product line. * Conduct mechanical design work primarily using Solidworks, allocating approximately 80% of your time to design tasks. * Participate in hands-on testing activities to ensure equipment meets design specifications. * Assist with customer buyoff processes, ensuring that equipment functions properly before shipment. * Work from either the Dublin, OH or Bellefontaine, OH locations, with occasional day trips between these sites, approximately once per month. Essential Skills * Minimum 3 years (Level 2 position) or 5 years (Level 3 position) of mechanical design engineering experience with custom equipment/machinery. * Proficiency in Solidworks design is essential. * Experience in designing fixtures is required. * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is strongly preferred.
