How You Will Make an Impact
Processing work orders for the custom shop. This includes calculating time and materials to create appropriate costs for wood products.
Estimating the cost of newly requested products. As well as, re-costing products previously produced. These prices may be sourced through various outside vendors, or using internal tools and processes by WHI.
Creation of C.A.D. Drawings for requested products. WHI uses sophisticated drafting software to produce detailed drawings of custom items that meet specified dimensions; as well as, aid in customer visualization.

POSITION OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Mechanical Designer III plays a key role in the successful execution of projects, focusing primarily on the production of AutoCAD Plant 3D and Revit drawings. The Mechanical Designer III is responsible for producing quality construction documents and coordinating design work with other engineering disciplines.
