Education: Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university is required.
Registration: Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.
Experience: This position requires 3+ years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical engineering.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned.
* Work directly with Sales and Manufacturing.
* Follow customer specifications to complete product designs.
* Work with Mechanical Designers to select components, develop drawings and maintain as-built revisions.
* Advise Mechanical Designers in the creating and modifying of 3D models and 2D drawings SolidWorks.
* Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings in SolidWorks or AutoCAD as needed.
* Select proper components and generate BOM's.
* Provide needed calculations for tanks and/or pressure piping components.
* Work with vendors to introduce new and cost-effective products into our systems.
* Participate in the inspections of products in various stages of the production process.
* Help maintain our ASME Quality Control System.
* Participate in Continuous Improvement Initiatives to develop better procedures and increase efficiency.
* Assist Project Management with customer interface and act as a SME for Mechanical Design queries.
* Create and update internal documents for Engineering Procedures and Training
