Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:
Create detailed 3D models of custom welded steel structures using SolidWorks, ensuring accuracy, manufacturability, and adherence to engineering standards (i.e. UL, critical dimensions, and weight limitations).

Qualifications
Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Drafting and Design Technology, Engineering Technology, Computer-AidedDesign (CAD), or equivalent job experience.
10+ years of hands-on work experience within manufacturing environment, ideally with design-to-order or custom fabrication projects.
Proven background producing 3D models and fabrication drawings for welded steel structures in SolidWorks. SolidWorks Professional certification is a plus. AutoCAD experience is a plus.
Hands-on familiarity with steel fabrication processes such as cutting, forming, welding, machining, assembly, and finishing.
